Chapter 5- disaster

Casey and Shay burst through the doors of the ER. They approached the nurse and started to talk to her. "We're looking for a Gabby Dawson. Car wreck victim." Said Shay. "Are you two immediate family?" Questioned the nurse. "I'm her boyfriend and Shay here is her best friend," Casey said. "Well, you aren't aloud to see her until she's in a private room," said the nurse. Casey and Shay walked to the waiting room and sat for what felt like hours until Casey broke down. "She has to be dead, Shay. We've been here an hour and we haven't gotten any news," said Casey through his sobs. "Think positive case, she's probably fine," said Shay. At that moment, Will halstead walked into the waiting room. Casey stood up. "I'm afraid I have some bad news," said Halstead. "What is it?" Casey questioned as a tear dropped from his eye to his cheek. "She has a concussion, but other than that, she's completely fine." Said will. Casey sighed with relief. "Can we see her?" He asked. "Go ahead," he said. Casey and Shay ran down the hall.
