Gabby went back to work the next day. "Dawson!" Everyone Yelled. "We got you something!" Otis said carrying a box over to her. She tore the wrappjn paper and opened the box. She pulled a chest protector out of the box as she laughed. "Haha. Thanks guys," she said as she put it on. "Let's go sit in my off-" Casey started to say. Just then the bells went off. Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61, Battalion 25. Building fire 2348 west Quincy. Hermann rushed out of the bunk room. "That's Molly's address," he said. Everyone sprung into action. They arrived and saw Game days owner standing outside with a box of matched and some gasoline. He was laughing. Dawson ran over to him and was about to tackle him down until he pulled his gun out of his coat. "Don't take one step closer," he said. Gabby stopped in her tracks and threw her hands in the air. "Matt!" She yelled. He pulled the trigger but Dawson was able to hit the ground before the bullet hit her. Otis and chief attached the man from the back and threw him into the back of the police car. "Gabby!" Matt said as he sprinted to her. He though she was hit. She turned to face him with tears streaming down her face. "I'm not hit babe!" She said though sobs. He engulfed her in a tight hug and presented her with a passionate kiss. "Damn Baby, next time let me chase the phyco!" He said. They drove back to the house and by the time they got there it was 8 pm. 8 pm was the curfew for the firefighters and paramedics at 51, so they laid down in their bunks. Gabbys bunk was right next to Casey's office, so she tried to sleep in her own bunk. When she didn't succeed, she tiptoed into Casey's office and laid down with him. He woke up. "What's wrong baby?" He asked. "Nothing, I just wanted to be with you." She replied. He turned around and wrapped his arm around her waist. He couldn't sleep because all he could think about was how perfect his wife was.
