Louise and I pulled back the final branch before the lights from the house lit up us and the area around it.
The backyard was full of people in costumes, and there were halloween decorations everywhere.
We stepped out from our hiding place and walked past the kids in the backyard, making our way to the inside of the three story home Felix lives.
The lounge was full of people, maybe even more than outside, and Louise pulled me into the kitchen where we found the food table.
There were bowls of punch lined up and more bowls with lollies and chips.
I poured Louise and I a drink of punch and we made our way to the game room, before we heard someone calling our names.
"Louise, Luna!" We looked behind us to see Mark Fischbach waving, and he looked amazing in his vampire cape and dark clothes which hugged his figure tightly. His teeth glinted more than the flashing lights, and he had a wide smile on his face.
"Mark!" I yelled over the music, walking to him with Louise by my side.
"Hey Mark!" Louise yelled as well.
"Hey!" Mark led us into a different room where the music wasn't as loud so we could have a conversation.
"Where are all your buddies?" I asked him.
"They're not here yet, I came early for the punch," he told us as he raised his cup slightly.
"You can hang out with us for the minute," I suggested.
"Sure," Mark smiled, and we stepped back into the hall to continue walking to the game room.
"Where's your new friend?" Mark asked us.
"He went back home to get something, but he'll be back soon," Louise answered.
I pushed the saloon doors forwards and we entered the game room, to see a huge pool table in the middle and a few table tennis tables around the room, with the usual couple making out in the corner.
Plenty of people were sipping 'punch' out of their cups and showing off their pool abilities.
Louise, Mark and I walked to the table and saw that Rex Secrode, a full human blood dressed as a pirate was having his turn at the pool table.
He spun around and went for the shot, but hit the white ball too hard so it ricocheted off the walls of the table and into one of the nets.
Most people cheered and some threw their hands around in defeat, and we saw money being handed around.
They started a new game, and Mark and I joined, deciding not to bet anything.
Louise told us she was going to go get some food, so she left us.
After a few people had their turns, it was my go. I aimed and fired for the white ball to hit the black 8 ball then ricochet off that ball to hit the blue 2 ball.
After the cheering and whistling died down, everyone looked back to where the game room door was.
I furrowed my eyebrows together and turned to see what they were looking at, and I saw Phil with Dan Howell next to him.
I let my eyebrows fall back to their normal state, and told Mark I'd meet with him later.
"Hey guys," I smiled, walking over to them, and it was still dead quiet. I turned my head and gestured for Mark to go so everyone's harsh gazes came away.
I looked down and saw their hands were intertwined, but Dan quickly pulled away as I saw it.
I smiled warmly and led them out of the game room into an unlocked bedroom, my heart pounding along with the beat of the music.
"What's up?" I asked them — or rather Phil. Dan avoided eye contact.
"I just wanted Dan to meet someone who isn't one of those people who are quick to judge," Phil told me, staring at Dan's face who was still looking at the ground.
"No one should be judged," I said, "We should have opinions, but we shouldn't judge."
"What's the difference?" Dan snapped.
"Well, when you have opinions, you tend not to share them unless they benefit that person, but if you judge, it may not come out as friendly as they should or they seem harsher," I said, "But no one can control the world."
Phil smiled as a silent thank you, when I saw Dan's eyes were full of water and they were red.
"What's wrong?" I asked quietly and his eyes darted from mine to Phil's then back to hus lap.
"N-nothing," he mumbled and sniffled before rubbing his eyes, "allergies."
"Well, if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here; and so is Phil," I told him.
Phil sat close to Dan and hugged him tightly, and I saw Phil look at me and mouth thank you before I left them alone.
I decided to look for Louise and hope she wasn't taking shots off some guys with a six pack.
