"What is an Ocutalus?" Dan asked quietly (humans were all around us) as we walked home in a group.

"Well, it's a long story," Mark started.

"I have an hour or so," he replied, his chocolate eyes growing wide.

I looked at Mark, then Phil. But Phil had a stupidly cute grin on his face. I smiled and poked him.

"Uh- uhm... right," he stuttered and cleared his throat as Dan looked over at him, waiting patiently, "Ocutaluses were originally from the witch and wizard world, but that was before their population grew. They're still extremely rare though, but they moved and created more islands to inhabit their species as the first Ocutalus was very... how do I explain it... independent? BOLD and independent."

"Even though they are supernaturals, they despise other supernaturals. Their eyes change colour when they feel an emotion or need to protect the humans. Basically, they want to vanish all other supernaturals except for themselves and humans," I continued as Phil grew quiet again.

"Just stay away from them, and you'll be in the clear," Mark said.

"Almost forgot — they have unexplainable healing powers. If you break a leg, you'd better hope you have a close friend that's an Ocutalus. I'm sure I've heard a legend they can heal cancer and scars as well," I said.

"In other words: powerful AF," Dan said.

"Basically," Phil nodded and giggled.

"This is where Mark and I branch off," I said, motioning to a street on the right, "See you two tomorrow?"

"It's Saturday tomorrow," Dan smiled.

"Come to the grotto if you're free," I said, stopping with them.

"The grotto?" Mark asked, and Phil and I laughed.

"Come to mine tomorrow at 1pm," I told the group, "We can show you where it is from there."

"Sure thing," Phil said as he waved, "See you tomorrow!"

Dan waved behind him as Mark and I called good bye and we parted.
