Sara POV
About a week after Logan, Ross and I's fun day I went over to the Lynch's.
I walked into an empty living room and a silent kitchen.
"Hello!" I called.
Rocky came pounding down the steps wearing a green bathing suit.
"Hey, Sara, Ross is at Austin and Ally, Rydel is with her friend, and Ryland is with Laura....so me and Riker are going swimming. Wanna come?"
"Sure, I will just borrow Rydels bathing suit!"
As I went up to Rydels room as I was in deep thought. In only a couple of weeks, the Lynch family had become a real family almost. I had actually almost fallen in love with one of them......
As I grabbed a yellow bikini and changed quickly, then walked out of the door I bumped into Riker.
He smiled big and said "Hey, Sara."
"Um..hi," I replied.
I started to walk off but Riker grabbed my arm gently. I turned around and gave him a confused look.
"Sara, can we talk," he seemed nervous all of the sudden.
I nodded and motioned for him to go on.
"Okay, Sara, I know I haven't known you all that long, but I really like you. You are pretty, nice and very funny. Would you go on a date with me.."
He stopped speaking and left me stunned. I didn't really like Riker in that way, but I didn't want to hurt him. I thought about it hard and came up with a decision.
"Riker, look...I just don't feel the same way...I'm sorry," I whispered with a frown.
He nodded and frowned"I understand," Riker said.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and held on to him tightly. "Look, just friends," I said looking into his eyes.
He nodded and smiled. He picked me up by my waist and ran downstairs with me in his arms.
"Riker!! Put me down!"
"Nope!" he laughed.
"Wow, you change moods fast!" I squealed.
He ran out to the pool and jumped in l, me still in his arms. Me and him hit the frigid water at the same time, making me shiver.
As he came up for air, I dunked him back in. I held him down as he tried to come up. I finally let him up.
"HEY!" he screamed.
"You are the one who grabbed me and ran to the pool."
He laughed and gave me a big hug.
Suddenly I felt a splash of water hit my back. I yelped and turned around.
Rocky stood there having a guilty smile.
I splashed water into his face, and tackled him into the water.
As we both came up for air, Riker was cracking up.
"What are you laughing at!" Rocky spoke.
This just made Riker giggle even more. As Riker was giggling, we heard a people jumping into the water.
We all turned around and saw Rydel and some other girl. As they came up I noticed she had shoulder length dyed red hair, a small nose and hazel eyes. Very pretty.
"Hey Sara," Rydel spoke.
"Hi!"
"This is Chelsea," she introduced.
I waved at her and gave her a big smile. She smiled and turned her attention to Riker.
"Hi, Riker," she said shyly.
"Hi," he said smiling.
I noticed she was blushing and keeping her head down. She liked him! I pulled Riker to the deep end.
"Riker, ask Chelsea out, she totally likes you, and is very pretty."
"She is pretty, but I'm scared. And I am not completely over you..."
"Rik, I don't think of you that way, so you should go and try to get a girlfriend!"
He nodded slowly and swam over to to Chelsea.
I watched them as they talked. After he spoke, she nodded her head quickly, grinning. He gave her a goofy grin and kissed her on the cheek.
At least relationships work out for him....
