"Wattup Mathew's guess who just turned eighteen?!" Maya yelled as she busted through the Mathew's door. Everyone just stood in an awkward silence as the blonde walked in the room. "Why are you all looking at me like that?" They all shifted their looks to the corner of the room, where a certain brown haired boy stood in amusement. Maya's finger followed their gazes. "Oh that's why."

"I'm just surprised you know how to use a door." Cory said, still baffled.

"So is this gonna happen or what?" Riley asked excitedly, pointing between Maya and Josh.

"What?" Maya panicked.

"Oh come on you know what I'm talking about! You and Josh, America's sweethearts!" Riley cooed.

"Hey that's us!" Topanga and Cory shouted in unison.

"You've been replaced!" Riley argued.

"Right." Maya said hesitantly, backing away. "I'm gonna go now."

"No!" Riley shouted. "Josh still needs to ask you out." She persisted.

Maya tried to look stunned by Riley's words, but she wasn't, she knew Riley wanted her and Josh to get together, but her and Josh already were. They had been for a while now, since Josh's last birthday. Maya shared a look at Josh, as If to ask him if she could tell Riley. All he did was smile and nod, gesturing for her to tell Maya. "Um Honey, I need to tell you something." Maya said, taking a step towards Riley. A confused look appeared on Riley's face. Maya sighed and stepped forward again, this time placing a hand on Riley's shoulders. "This may shock you but-"

"Josh asked you out already, didn't her?" Riley interrupted.

"Yeah." Maya nodded her head firmly. Riley smiled and started to shake. "Let it out." Maya gave.

"YAAAYYY!" Riley screamed, hugging her bestfriend tightly. "I wanna hear all about this." Riley said as she took Maya's hand in hers and lead her to the kitchen table. Josh followed suit and took a seat next to Maya. "So when did he do it." Riley gushed.

Maya furrowed her eyebrows, looking down, as if she was thinking. "Tuesday." She stated.

"Awweee" Riley, well, awed.

"Ten months ago." Maya said.

"Awww." Riley continued, the sound of her voice changing from an upbeat, happy awe, to a disappointed, more sad one. "What? Why didn't you tell me?" she asked.

"Because I didn't know how'd you react." Maya shrugged. Josh placed a hand on the top of Maya's knee, rubbing light circles on the cap of it. He knew Maya was anxious about all of this, that was why she didn't want to tell anyone. Maya looked up to Josh and smiled, her body relaxing as it fell into the side of Josh.

"You know I want to be mad but I can't, they're just too cute." Cory spoke up. Maya crinkled his nose up at him, sticking her hand out.

"I for one, am not mad, I'm actually really happy, now I can give you your 1 year anniversary gift early." Riley added.

"Riles that's not how anniversaries work-"

"Shhhhhh" Maya shushed Josh, placing a finger onto his lips. "She's giving me a present, don't ruin this for me." she demanded. All Josh did was laugh.

Riley moved her hand towards Maya and she placed it on top of Maya's. "I'm really happy for you." she smiled.

Maya smiled back. "Good, cause I am too."

I'm sorry that was really short, but I just got my nails done and I can't type correctly cuz my nails are so long lol. Also I'm back now and I'm gonna try to update every week.
