1: We Met

"Oakley wake up!" "Seriously Oak we don't have time to waste, wake up!!" My eyes popped open. "What" I drowsily asked. "Holy hell Oakley I've been trying to wake you up for the past 30 minutes" my coworker, Connor complained. "Oh I'm so sorry I went to bed late last night editing" I said. "It's fine but hurry up and get dressed we have a shoot in 15" he said and walked out of my room. I got up put on some black jeans and a grey tank crop top. I pulled my hair into a messy bun, put on some mascara, and slipped into my vans. "You ready Oak" Connor asked. "Yeah as long as we can make a quick coffee stop." 

After grabbing coffee Connor and I drove to our clients house. Connor and I have a filming business and over the last three years it has gotten really big. We've filmed for people such as one Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Post Malone. We've been living together for about two years now but Con is engaged and will be moving into his own place soon. I love filming and it has been a passion of mine since I was a kid but I've also always loved to create music and sing. "Where are we headed to Con" I asked. "Up and coming new boy band" he said. "Ahh never heard that before" I joked. "They're actually pretty good" he said. "We'll see" I said. "The name of their band is pretty much, there's five boys" he said, "Edwin, Brandon, Zion, Nick, and Austin." "Sounds dope" I said and we drove to the shoot. 

We had been shooting for about two hours now and I had only met two of the guys. I had been filming Nick and Brandon at the beach and around the streets for awhile while Con was doing the other three. Their music was actually pretty good and the boys were super sweet and easy on the eyes (and ears) too. "Ok guys I just need a few more shots of Nick and then we can go down and meet the other boys" I said. They nodded and Nick got into position. 

After shooting with Nick, we drove down to one of Connor and I's favorite place to shoot at this huge multi colored light bridge to shoot all five of the guys. We got there a bit before Connor so we made small talk. "So how old are you" Brandon asked. "I'll be 21 in three months" I replied. "Damn" Nick said, "we're close in age." He winked. I laughed. "And height" Brandon joked. "He definitely has a solid four inches on me" I said laughing. "Thank you" Nick said. We all started laughing. "Oh look there's Connor" I said. Connor and three boys started walking towards us. "Look at these" I said to Connor looking down at my camera and showing him some demo footage I had. While I was showing Connor the videos I could here whispers behind me. "Damn dude who's that?" "Mine and Brandon's photographer bro." "Damn." "I know dude I've been thinking that all day." Connor unknowingly interrupted "Ok boys I want to get some shots in the red light so let's get going." I looked up. Brandon, Nick, and the other three other boys were staring at me. I broke the awkwardness. "Hi guys we haven't met, I'm Oakley" I said offering a hand to the other three. "Oh um hi I'm Edwin" he said taking my hand. "Zion very nice to meet you" he nervously said. I turned to the long haired one. Damn. It might just be the red light but he was cute. "Uh ahhh I'm Austin" he said. "Austin" I smirked, "like the name." He started blushing and Zion gave him a "nice bro" pat on the back. "Ok boys let's go" Connor said. All the boys snapped out of it and started posing and singing.... well except for Austin.
