6: Past Meets Present

I got home and immediately started editing. I knew I wouldn't have any time tomorrow because I was filming a music video for Ed Sheeran. Just as I was putting the final touches on the bands photos my phone rang. It was Alex, my ex boyfriend. I hesitantly answered. 

-Hello.- 

-Oakley! So good to hear your voice.-

-Do you need something?-

-Just wanted to let you know I can't wait to see you tomorrow.-

-Huh?-

-I'll be at the video shoot for Ed Sheeran.-

Alex and I met while filming for Selena Gomez. He was with a lighting and design team. We dated for about 8 months until I found out he was cheating on me. We've been broken up for 3 months now. 

-Oh, yay.-

-You sound so excited.-

-I for sure am.-

-Alright Oakley, I'll see ya soon.-

I hung up the phone. Ugh I wasn't excited for this. 

The next day...

I was running late to the video shoot so I put on some black ripped jeans and a multi colored, striped top. I threw on a dark green beanie and got going. I got to the location about 30 minutes later and started my work. I hadn't seen Alex yet but I was trying to avoid him at all costs. "Oakley" I turned around to see Ed. "Hi how are you" I smiled, hugging him. "I'm wonderful" he said, "and you?" "Busy, but I'm doing great" I replied. "Good to hear" he smiled. I nodded. "Let's get back to work" the director called. We started back on th video again. I took different shots of the scenery and Ed. Finally they called for lunch. I turned off my camera and turned to go to the main room. As I was walking to the table I felt someone lightly push me. Alex. I turned around. "Hey Alex" I said. He engulfed me in a big hug. "Oak, you look amazing" he said eyeing me up and down. "Thanks" I smiled. "Did your boobs grow a couple sizes or what" he said. I hit him. "Shut up" I said. He laughed. I turned to go get my camera. "And your ass damn" he said. I flipped him off, laughing. For the rest of the break Alex wouldn't leave me alone. Talking about how good I looked, trying to slap my ass, and hold my hand. Just as he tried to hug me I heard someone call my name. I turned around and saw Brandon. "Brandon what are you doing here" I asked. "Ed wrote a song for us, he invited us here" he said. "I'm so glad to see you" I said and hugged him. "Where's the other boys" I asked. "Um Ed's over there I'm not sure where the rest are" he said pointing to Edwin walking over to us. 

Eventually we met up with the other boys but I only got to say hi to Austin before it was time to start shooting again. "Come on Oak" Alex said from out o the blue and put his arm around me. All the boys looked shocked but Austin was boiling with anger. Before they thought I had a boyfriend I said, "guys this is my ex, Alex." Alex shook their hands. "Emphasis on ex" I said directing it to Austin. "Oh come on" Alex said. I pushed his hand off of me. "Alex" his boss called. "Gotta blast" he said smiling at me and running off. The boys started talking to each other but Austin followed me. "Who the hell" Austin said. "He's my ex" I said. "I get that but damn he's pissing me off" he said. "He's definitely a character" I said. "When are you done here" he asked. "I won't be done until late tonight" I replied. "Well then I guess I know where the boys and I will be spending our night" he smiled, kissing my cheek and walking away. Oh no...
