5: Crazy Talk

I woke up the next morning to Con calling. 

-Hi Con.-

-Good morning Oak, I assume you've been up for hours now?- 

-You know me so well.-

-Listen Natalie's folks are coming into town to help set up for the wedding next week.- 

-Yes I will take the shifts.- 

-You are the best. I'll send you the schedule for the week and I'll see you next Tuesday for the wedding.-

-Course.- 

-Great and make sure to bring a date. Maybe that Austin kid from the boyband!-

-Maybe.- 

-Alright thanks again, see ya soon.- 

-Bye Con.-

I looked at the schedule. Just a dance shoot with Ayo and Teo tonight but tomorrow.... photo shoot with pretty much. 

The next day I woke up early surprisingly. I put on some striped pants from Brandy Melville and a red off the shoulder top. I slid on my vans and curled my hair. I threw on some mascara in the car. When I arrived at the shoot I saw the all five of the boys. Austin had been texting me but just small talk. "Oakley" Brandon said and hugged me. The others came and piled on. "Hey guys" I said. I looked at Austin. Of course he looked good ugh. "What are we doing today" I asked. "Just some quick pics" Edwin said. "Gotta get the goods for the IG" Zion said. I laughed. "Sweet" I said. We immediately started taking pics. Austin and I were acting normal... always talking and touching and laughing. When I was taking singles of him we started talking. "I talked to my manager" he said. "Oh good"I said. "He's gonna think about it" he said. "That's good" I said. "But Oak... if he doesn't let me date you. I'm gone" he said. "What do you mean" I asked. "I'm done with the group"he said. I stopped taking pictures. "What are you talking about" I said. "You're all I think about. You're all I want. I won't let someone take that from me" he said. He grabbed me and kissed me. I pulled away after a second. "No Austin you can't do that" I said. "I can" he argued. "You're not giving up on this" I said, "thats crazy." I put my hand under his chin and lifted his head to look at me. "You know I want you, but I would never want you to give up your dreams for me" I said. His eyes started watering. "But Oakley" he said. "No" I interrupted, "I hope your manager will let us happen, but if he doesn't there is nothing we can do. You're amazing. Don't give up on something you've come so far doing." He looked into my eyes, kissed me again, and hugged me. 

The shoot went well after that and the boys and I picked up some pizza while I finished editing. Brandon helped me out since he loved photography too. Edwin came in to help too. Before leaving I said goodbye to all the boys and Austin walked me out. "Can you fit me in this week" he asked. "If you're allowed"I joked. He laughed. "Let me know when you can, I'll see if I'm busy" he said. I nodded. "Goodnight cutie"he said. He leaned in and we kissed. We broke off and he kissed my forehead before closing the car door. On the way home I listened to old Chris Brown on repeat.
