A rose;
The beautiful prize earned
for passing the thorns.
How many, though,
are willing to try,
and to fight,
to go through a struggle,
to reach their desires?
The prize will not be won
without first proof of deservedness.
Shall you just receive
a reward for nothing?
Life is an uphill battle;
that much is clear,
but when the summit is reached
the view is worth the struggle.
