Chapter 3: First blood

One of the chosen's POV

I swung my new crafted iron axe at the tree, since my last one broke then I finished it with one more swing cutting it down. 'Still no apples!?' I sigh, continuing chopping down trees until my stomach growls, begging for food. I should head back, my steak has to be done by now, if not then something's wrong. As I walk I found an apple on the ground, seriously now?

I grabbed the apple and walked back to my furnace and shove my hand inside to grab my food out but nothing was in there. 'Strange, it's gone... I could've sworn I put it in there!' I sigh as my stomach growls again. I looked around to spot something or someone in the distance, they're standing next to a furnace as well. 'Maybe they have food?'

Running towards the person, I pulled out my sword just incase it was a mob. When I got close, I saw a flash of blue clothes, 'Must be a zombie!' I thought. I leaped at the 'zombie' and pinned it down until I heard it scream. I took another look to see that it wasn't an actual zombie, it was a girl in a blue hoddie with long black hair.

'Oppsie' I got off her, held my hand out for her, she took it and I helped her up. "Sorry about that, I wasn't paying attention, I thought you were a zombie because of your hoodie." She gave me a smile, "Oh, don't worry about it! Even th-" I inturupted her mid-sentence because my stomach growling again.

"Oh, are you hungry? I got some food if you want some!" She said, pulling out some cooked mutton from her furnace "Yes please, I was just chopping down some trees to try and get an apple but I started getting low on hunger so I went back to my furnace where I cooked my steak but something or someone took it because when i checked it nothing was there!"

She tried to hold back a laugh but fail doing so, "What's so funny?" I asked, tilting my head in cofusion. "T-that was- Your's? HAhahhaHHaha!" She had tears in her eyes from laughing too hard- wait... SHE WAS THE ONE WHO TOOK MY FOOD!?

"Wait... You mean YOU took my food!?" She nodded as she laugh her butt off on the ground. She stood up and hand me her mutton, "Here take it since I took your steak." I sat down and started munching on the mutton. "My name's Yumi by the way!" "Andi." I answered.

I sat there watching her build a house while I ate, she's not the best at building through. After I finish my mutton, I helped her build our house. Good thing I chopped down all those trees, I got unlimited supplies now! It took us a while but we finally finished our house, it looks pretty nice through we're gonna have to bring all our stuff inside. I helped her carry our stuff inside and settled everything down. Wait, when did I agree with living with her? What... Oh never mind, at least I have someone and a place to live.

I have no idea how but our house is now half blue and purple... Where does she get paint!? 'I wish it was green thou--' This game is weird... People are weird... I'm weird... EVERYONE'S WEIRD!

I laughed at my own thought and sat down on the couch while she's upstair doing something I don't wanna know. Okay, maybe I'm a bit curious, I went upstairs to her room and opened the door revealing her drawing something... WHEN DID SHE GET PAPER? She turned around and waved at me, I snapped back out to reality and stole some of her paper.

I went to my own room and started my drawing, I got lost in my fantasy not knowing that it was night.

One of the chosen's POV 

Ow... Where am I? Why am I- "AHHHHHH!!" I screamed as I fell off the tree I was on, why the hell was I in a tree!? I know I'm a Chocobo hybird but that doesn't mean you can put me on a tree and expect for me to wake up and fly away! It doesn't work like that!

I sigh and got up from the ground, rubbing my poor back. Where am I? I looked around, this doesn't look like the forest I was in. It isn't even a forest, it's a jungle! I flapped my wings and flew up and scanned the area, I saw a house in the distance with a boy?

I flew over to the house and hid in a tree, watching the boy craft. He had a snow white hoddie with brown hair. I jumped down and sneaked behind his house, what am I doing... I walked behind him, "BOO!!" I shouted and grabbed his should making him jumped and point his sword at me.

"Woah chill bruhhhh!" I laughed as he put his sword away, "Who are you?" He asked. "I'm Choco, you?" "Sean".

"Can I stay with you?" He turned around to gave me a 'Are you serious face', "Aw c'monn! I have no where to go! I don't even know where I am!" He sigh and pointed at my pocket, I reached in it and found a note.

I finished reading as my jaw drops to the ground, are you FREAKING KIDDING ME!? HELL NAW! WHY ME!? WHAT DID I DO!? I sigh 'Well I guess I gotta deal with this then..' well I'm just happy that Sean was nice enough to let me stay with him but he said only for the night then I have to go, I was a bit sad about it but if I were him I'll probably just look at me as an enemy or whatever, and later on he went to sleep while me on the other hand I was up I can't help but think of my friends, 'Do they know where I am? Are they worried about me? Or... are they here with me.. no' I shook the thought of that in my head and sat there looking at the moon it was peaceful. It looked like no mods were out I miss all my friends I sniff a bit and wiped away my tears 'Don't cry my god..' I said to myself.

And soon I heard a faded scream, I quickly look outside seeing no one...

One of the chosen's POV

I was drawing till I heard something outside our house.. me being me I was jumping to conclusions quickly I quickly run to Yumi's room and swing open the door and "YUMI! I HEARD SOMETHING!" I said as if I was a young child, and I realized she was sleeping she groans and looks at me all tired "W-What I'm sleeping!" She says and throws paper at me "Rude much?-- But I would gladly take the pa----" I was cut off by the door I yelped and quickly ran to her side on the bed, now I see she's fully awake and afraid we both were hugging each other till the person he had a bear mask?.. anyways he came inside the room we were in and they had a sword out even a diamond axe! Yumi looked pale and she pushed me 'WOW!' I thought I was now standing "Hey, hey listen dude we don't want any tro----" He swung a diamond axe right near me! I was now scared to death, I fell to the floor he looks straight down at me "Chill!" I said and he swung again but it hit the floor "NO!" Yumi screamed with her hands out, this is my chance! I got up and ran to my room "ANDI!" She yells 'Don't worry!' I thought then I grabbed my iron sword and golden apple and go back to the room which Yumi was throwing stuff at him, I quickly ran and he turned around and hit my shoulder I screamed in pain and I hit the iron sword back at him he grunts.

I hold my arm and start groaning, and even tears stream down I look back at him seeing him coming directly at me and I get out the way and kick his leg and held my sword I aimed it at him and closed my eyes before hitting him...

My eyes were still closed and then a thud was heard... I cover my mouth and dropped my sword and slowly my eyes open seeing him not moving a bit... I sit on the bed beside us and I rub my face saying 'It didn't have to be like this..' over and over before Yumi pats my back "You should eat that golden apple now.." She said and I nodded and did, slowly I was healing and I sigh "I didn't want to kill anyone!" I yelled I grabbed my iron helmet off my head and threw it to the floor.

Then after that outside it was a lightning storm...
