Chapter 7: On a mission

Yumi's POV

After I finished the last bed room, I settled all the beds, wardrobe and everything you would need in a bedroom. I look proudly at  my work beforegoing back downstairs. "Hey! Your rooms ae done, might as well go up and settled down! Oh and have you met Andii yet?"

"No, Andii didn't come down nor did Lachlan." Huh... I guess she was tired? "Oh well! I'll go get Lachlan up!" They nod as I went to Lachlan's room and knocked until he opened. "Hm...? What do you wan Yumiiiii...?" I chuckled, "The guys are waiting to see you!" Lachlan's eye shot open. "Who?" He asked, "Oh It's Sky, Ty, Kenny, Sean and Choco!"

Immediately, he bolted down stairs to where the others was waiting. I sigh as I walked and knocked on Andii's door, 'No answer'. Strange, I guess she's alseep? I twisted the handle to see that it was open... She never leaves her door open unless she's doing something crazy or weird and forgot to close it... I went in to see that she was nowhere to be found, where did she go?

"Andii?" I called out for her, "Andii?" I called out again. "Andii??" Still no answer. I went over to her window which was opened and gasped at the thought of her jumping off! Sure she won't die because it wasn't that high but still, I'm worried now! I turned to her bed to find a piece of paper under her pillow, 'My fault'? What does she mean...? Wait! Jerome! I forgot! Oh no... She can't be wandering out there alone! She'll get hurt! Maybe even killed... I can't let that happen! Not like this!

I have to find her but I can't go now, it's too dark... I'll leave in the morning, I'll also write a note and stick it on the fidge so they  won't start worrying about me. I went out of Andii's room to hear that everyone is in their rooms, I sigh and walked back to mine. Closing the door behind me, I sat down and wrote the note before placing it next to me then before I knew, I fell into deep sleep.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm, it was 5:13 am. I started packing everything I need into my backpack for my adventure through the wilds to find Andii. I opened the door and walked out of my roomright before I grabbed my note. I went down to the kitchen and stuck it on the freezer, ulocked the door and walked out. I ran towards the direction Andii's window was at, into the jungle. I hope she's okay...

I climbed up the trees and leaped from one to another before stopping mid-way to hear someone groan. I looked down to find another male in a blue hoddie just like mine with eyes just like mine! Wow... Well, except for his hair it's chocolate brown my is just pitch black. I jumped down infront of him, making him flitch a bit. "Hey! What are you doing all the way out here?" I asked the male, "I don't know! I just woke up here but... Who are you and where am I?"

I pointed at the note lying on his stomach, he took a while to read it but when he finished, his eyes went wide and he started to shake his head. "This is a dream this is a dream!! Tell me this is a dream!" He started to cry, I hugged him. "Sorry but, it's not. You can meet the others in the house I build if you go North-West from here! You're going to be okay, Whats your name?" I said softly to him, "My name's Rob and you?" He answered. "My name is Yumi and I better  get going to find my friend before she dies... Here, take my iron sword with you just incase if something or someone tries to attack you!" I gave him my iron sword and I also gave him some food before I waved goodbye. "Thank you!" He said and I gave him a smile before dashing off deeper into the jungle.

As I was walking it rained raining! I sigh but I was determined to find Andii I'm not giving up, it passed half an hour of walking and I needed to stop for a break 'Andii could be really far from now...' I look toward me and I begin onces again and that's when I thought I maybe should've made a map...

One of the chosen's POV

I'm so thankful that the girl was nice enough to give me some stuff, now that I think of it just to repay her I could've helped her! Damnit Rob! I take shelter cause early it started to rain and I was walking without stopping I was under a tree and I sit there looking around me nothing much but there were flowers I smile and just look at them but one was unique compared to the others; it was orange, red and yellow I never seen one like that and that's when it hit me.

"Preston!" I shouted.

Hopefully he isn't in here, please to god I wouldn't want to see him here, even the rest! I better be the only one out of all of us, I would do anything to keep them safe and I heard movement.. I quickly held my iron sword and I was shaking a bit, what if they are hella strong?! And soon I seen them they came walking and got a drink from the lake. I stand up and walk towards them and they turn around they scream and it scared me cause they literally screamed in my face! I back up a bit and they start begging for their life ans they sound pretty familiar "Matt?" I asked and he shoots up his head looking up at me "Rob!" He yells jumping up and hugs me tight and it felted as if I couldn't breathe "M-Matt" I stuttered out and he notices "Sorry Rob" He says and stops hugging me with his hands up.

"Anyways Rob where are we?!" He asked me and I noticed a note behind his back, and I grab it off his back he reads it and his jaw drops "N-No.." He says and I sigh "I know... I hate this already.." I tell him "Rob are you guys pranking me again?! Look I'm sorry I had all the maple syrup! I'll go and get some more" Matt crosses his hands and looks at me with a frown, "Matt it's not a joke.." I said and wait.. HE WAS THE ONE THAT HAD ALL THE MAPLE SYRUP!? I WAS MAD THAT IT WAS GONE ALL OF A SUDDEN! "M-My maple syrup.. MATT YOU BETTER RU-AHH!" I stop by getting grabbed by a zombie! I didn't even realize the time, Matt rushes by grabbing my sword out of my hand and kills it "We need to stay somewhere for the night! It's too dangerous here" Matt says and I nodded.

I ended up following him to a cave it was save enough for the night, I look at him he was just looking at his hand "Matt.." I said and he didn't bother looking at me which I sigh and I lay in the hard stone ground and close my eyes.
