Mirror Image
I look in the mirror just to see
My fears, my hopes, my insecurities
A lack of self-control
Over that which makes me feel whole.A human requirement, a necessity
Turned into a disgusting type of...
Gluttony. The inability to purge it away:
A way to avoid letting the fattening demon stay,
A weak trait thoroughly despised
And another week of attempted starving compromised. It's big, it's huge and just keeps inflating
My thighs, my hips, my stomach
Waging war on my brain
Becoming more and more...
Intimidating.It's those girls, you see.
The ones all over who look better than me."That's my dream.
I want to look like that."
Skinny seems great when you're
So
Damn
Fat.
