The Wish

Lyra POV

As I was walking to my class, trying to piece together what the hell just happened, I bump into my best friend Ava. " Lyra!!!! Why did you not text me to come pick you up from your house! It's such a long walk!" She says. " It's fine Ava! It's not even that far from my house at all..." Ava sighs. "Well next time text me! You are my best friend after all. Anyways, how's your 'boyfriend'" " Oh he's good. Being hot as always! And you know he'll NEVER be my boyfriend so don't get my hopes up for nothing. Daniel deserves someone worthy of hi-" she cuts me off " Yeah yeah. Okay let's get to class before we are late" I was kinda mad she didn't let me finish my sentence but she and I both knew I would've just been rambling about how he's hot and he needs someone who is most definitely not me. So I just walked it off and went to class not wanting to argue.

As I sat down I began thinking of what I want to wish for. Wait what why am I even thinking of that?!? It's probably fake anyways, but I mean it wouldn't hurt to try..... I'll just wish for something really big and stupid and if it comes true then lucky me and if not it's fine I just wanted to test the words of the lady. I began focusing on the actual lecture than the wish but I ended up thinking about it again and I didn't realize the class had ended so I basically learned nothing! Great thanks a lot brain.

-Time Skip to Lunch Because I'm to lazy xP-

It was lunch and I sat down next to Ava and Kat. My two best friends. They began talking about somethings then I out of no where say "If an old lady walked up to you and said to make a wish at midnight would you do it?" They both looked at me in confusion but answered "I mean I would try for fun and if it didn't work than oh well. Why do ask Lyra?" Kat said. "No reason, just popped into head " I said as I chuckled. Oh well I thought.

-End of School-

As I walking home I was thinking of what to wish for and I just thought why not wish to switch bodies with Daniel? Yeah great idea! Since it's so stupid and dumb it probably won't come true and I'll have this weight off my chest! I smiled to myself for such wonderful logic. I walked into my home greeting my parents, eating dinner and then walking upstairs to go to 'sleep'. I changed into a black outfit to blend into the night sky and not be noticed. I went on my phone to kill time and I noticed a post from Daniel.

I had forgotten he was coming! How could I forget such a thing!! I mentally smacked myself for forgetting. I checked the time and it said 11:30
I then started my plan. I left a ladder outside to climb down from my window since my room was on the second floor. As I climbed down the ladder I looked behind me to see if anyone was there was and there wasn't so I began my walk to the hill.
I got to the hill at 11:50. So I sat down on the top of the hill and looked at the stars. I then opened my phone again to see Daniels post one again and thought Tonight, Daniel you and I may finally meet.. unless this is all just a joke which is probably the right answer. I thought as I chuckled to myself.
I checked the time one last time and it said 11:59.
So I got up and looked at the stars and wished that I could switch bodies with Daniel Parks.
I waited for 20 minutes on that same spot and nothing happened. "I knew this was a stupid idea..." I began walking back to my house to go to sleep. I climbed up my ladder and fell asleep still in the same clothes. "At least tomorrow is the weekend so I can sleep in" I whispered to myself as I feel into dream land.

Daniel POV

I had finally finished my schedule and finished my trip to New York. I then remembered I'm heading back home to LA. I decided why not make a little post about it. So I just posted something saying Home sweet home. As my flight landed I got off and head towards my car and then drove to my hotel that I was staying at. I got out of my car, and head to suite 1040. I opened the door showered and changed and fell asleep not giving a damn in the world at the moment. In my dream I heard a girl saying she wanted to switch bodies with me as a wish but I didn't get to see her face or any features. Just her voice. I thought nothing of it probably just a fangirl wanting all my fame and that stuff. I began dreaming about all the free time I had on the weekend and ended falling into a deep slumber.
