In the end.. Tomura was never found.. somehow able to escape into the crowds without any problems.. despite Izuku and Narina giving descriptions to the police, nobody was able to really pin him down..
In the meantime.. the search for Tomura Shigaraki was kept secret.
"The UA is under quite a bit of discrimination right now due to the earlier incident where the League of Villains invaded the Environmental Rescue simulation facilities." said one of the head detectives, a man who seemed to be a friend of All Might's.. "Narina, as a very up and coming famous hero who represents the ideal hero of the current generation.. it wouldn't serve well to have people know you yourself were unable to apprehend Tomura Shigaraki."
Of course.. Izuku knew it had nothing to do with saving face for Narina.. it was all about optics. Narina herself admitted frequently to the rest of the class that she herself had lost often.. that part of growing stronger was realizing how weak you were to begin with and learning to improve what you had..
But the concept of somebody out there keeping everyone safe was like both a deterrent for criminals and a calmer for the public.. Along with All Might, Narina was helping to solidify that.. despite the fact that Hero Killer Stain's ideals were causing many villains to start rising as well
If people were aware that Tomura had caught Narina off guard like that.. and then escaped unscathed, it would've damaged those optics and caused dissent and then perhaps encouragement among villains.
Izuku now further began to understand All Might's responsibility as the Symbol of Peace, he didn't just fight a physical battle.. he fought one of politics and public view
and now Narina was involved in that same struggle.. and from what Izuku could see, it was one of the few parts of heroism she had never experienced before.
"I usually spend so much time in the hospital from constantly getting beat up on I know all the staff of the hospital from my home town personally.. hahahahaha!" she would laugh along with her class
But there was something else that made Izuku worried.. something he voiced later to Almight as they were walking outside in the school yard.
As the inheritor of All Might's power, Izuku was one of the few people who knew of All Might's current condition.. that he was severely injured by a powerful villain.. and as a result he could only retain his powerful muscular form for about an hour at a time... so when Izuku was with All Might alone.. All Might was able to assume his dimunitive scrawny form.
"So you said you were worried about something?" asked All Might. "What is it? Midoriya?"
"Wh.. what kind of hero do you think Narina-chan is?" asked Izuku carefully, looking down at the grass wetting his shoes.
"Hmmmm.. an odd question.." said All Might. "I think.. as a hero she is the type who is truly desirable by the public.."
"D.. Desirable by the public..?"
"Like me.. she possesses immense nearly unfathomable power.. a power that deters criminals and causes others to look upon her in awe." said All Might. "However, despite this.. she does not smile and laugh unrealistically like me.. with a personality of one who fears nothing... instead she walks and talks like an ordinary person.. openly stating her love of geeky things.. professing her desires to open a bakery.. and dealing with the same hormonal, kiddish problems that girls her age deal with all the time.. in other words she's more human than me.. and having somebody human to relate to, something that feels obtainable.. it endears her to others, makes her feel precious to them even if they never met her.. in a way people desire to protect her as much as she desires to protect them.."
