"N.. Narina-chan.." Momo stopped in front of her door quickly. "Um.. I know it's late and all.. and early birds always get the worm so the saying goes.. but.. would you like to come inside just for some tea and conversation?"
Momo smiled at Narina a little sheepishly.
Narina smiled back. "Well.. I'm not scheduled to work with Mineta till 3 tomorrow.. and then I've got Izuku pretty late in the day after that.. plus you're my only student for today..so.. why not?"
Momo looked overjoyed as she let Narina inside.
Narina could tell Momo probably had a pretty lonely childhood.. Her overexuberance at people visiting or coming over.. her best friend Nina used to have the same exuberance when she was around 13 and Narin and Stoor both first came to her house for a Star Wars viewing party.
Perhaps Narina was reminded of Nina by Momo.. they both were really smart, sometimes hesitant.. though Momo seemed a little bouncier than Nina while Nina could be sterner and more like a mother hen when she needed to be.
Narina and Momo sat inside one of the large living rooms, talking, tea in hand, and Narina had to admit.. Momo's naievity of the world outside the upperclass was pretty large.
"You mean.. the size of your room is NORMAL for most people!?" stammered Momo.
"Yeah.. well.. most people I know here anyways.." Narina said. "You really never go out much do you Momo?"
"Well.. I guess.. I've lived so long in luxury, it feels weird for it not to be luxurious... kind of sounds like I'm a brat doesn't it?" said Momo.
"Naive.. but not a brat... and being Naive disappears with experience. That's why being a hero is a good profession for you. You'll have to save all sorts of people from all walks of life.. go to different environments, etc.. you'll see the world in a less filtered lens than the way you were raised." said Narina.
"What's your hero career like Narina-chan?" Momo asked curiously.
"Hmmmm... let me think.." Narina muttered. "Well.. I'm going to be honest.. the villains I've fought are um... not the type you kids are all used to.. I've taken on some pretty twisted monsters.. some of them make Stain look like an over talkative Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.. "
"Ohoooo?" Momo looked fascinated. "so.... can you name a few villains you've fought? They must have been so vicious that they were hidden from the public considering you've only recently grown popular.. all your fights must've been top secret.."
"Y.. You could say that." said Narina. "Alright.. some of the most vicious ones I've faced... well.. There was a serial killer named Barracuda Barry from the Silent Circle.. I awakened Prism Dragon for the first time after fighting him... then there was Violet back when she was still alone and crazy... oh.. this lady named Ms. Plum who tortured me and then tried to sexually harrass me.."
"Eeeehh?" stammered Momo.
"Oh and I can't forget Chasm.. he.. was the strongest guy I ever fought.. and he let me win." said Narina. "He's an extraterrestrial who lay dormant in the Earth for eons, and then awoke cause he wanted to fight somebody... now he's a teacher cause he's bored.. "
"y.. you're not making this up?" squeaked Momo.
"Nope.. be kinda hard to really.. not like I write science fiction anime books for fun or anything." said Narina.
(Me: *whistles and ducks behind a corner*)
Narina smiled. "You're all still in school.. but I bet all your adventures are going to be wilder than mine someday.. "
