I'm getting better! 😉 I'd appreciate comments guys, I really love being able to chat with you guys!

Shadow

I sat alone on my mostly unused bed that had been given to me by the guild. I got back two weeks ago and Mercer had ignored me, so in revenge I was going to break guild rules and hold back the information about this Karliah woman. Tears were streaking through my sleek fur, and that was his doing.

'Vixen I'm so-'

'That's Lady Septim to you, the one who promised that he'd never keep secrets from me! What's this about being murdered by another woman?! You said you'd tell me anything, Frey, yet you fail to tell your girlfriend about the possibility of being murdered! We were supposed to be married two weeks ago, yet you've been ignoring me, never asked for the vital information you requested, and spent all of your time halfway across Skyrim in Solitude! How do you expect me to just reply to your nicknames if I've felt like this has been a loveless relationship the whole time?! Take your papers and go, I hope you choke on them.' ' I snapped.

Eyes widening, I slapped a hand over my mouth. Mercer looked taken aback and very hurt. I'd just let slip what I never should have, and screamed it at the Guildmaster of the guild I never felt home in. The only other person in the Cistern was Vex, who also had her hand over her mouth and tears in her eyes. She, for one, was a hardcore fan of Mercer and I being in a romantic relationship, and I'd also lied to her about my real name. Nobody here knew I was one of the legendary "Split Septim Heirs" as the Black Horse Courier called us, as we were apparently fables among the Stormcloaks and Anti-Thalmor all across Tamriel. The whole reason I'd never told anyone was because there was a Mythic Dawn agent in Skyrim, hellbent on murdering me.

I dashed off, making a beeline for the training room.

Brynjolf

I didn't expect to find what I did.

Mercer had told me his girlfriend had just gone off at him and was actually one of the legendary Septim heirs, soon after that I'd woken to a scream of pain sounding like Mercer. Vex informed me Shadow had run off to the training room after screaming at Mercer, he'd left it a while before going to see her.

Rushing to the training room, I bumped into Mercer on his way out, limping in the darkness. Entering the shadowy room, I squinted to see through the pressing darkness to find the small white cat. Unsuccessful in my search, I decided that calling for her was my best option.

'Shadow? Lass?'

'Get away from me.'

Her voice was low, broken, as she held up a dagger. Shadow was propped up against a wall, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth. The small Khajiit was quivering as I approached, and I realised she was afraid of me. Clearly I pushed it too far, because she suddenly sprang at me with two ebony daggers and made a lovely crisscross pattern of cuts all over my chest as she silently fled the training room.

A small urg... escaped my lips as I fell to the floor, listening to the fading footsteps of a frightened thief.
