The final bell signalling the end of school rang but I took my getting up and leaving the sickbay.

I was still a little sore but i would be fine. After a couple of months of getting your arse handed to you during training, you body tends to learn howto take a punch  heal faster.

I had a bit under an hour to get to the castle and start training, just enough time to go to my bunker, eat and change.

I strolled back to the house, taking the time to heal a bit more and get used to walking normally with the pain still in my stomach. I got to the house and checked if there was anyone there or if there had been a person in the house. When i was satisfied that the house had been undisturbed during my absence I left through the back door, out the yard and into the forest.

The forest is a lovely place during the day with moss covered trees, soft green shrubs covering the ground and just enough sunlight filtering through to warm you up.

I closed my eyes and listened with a smile on my face to the singing birds, the chirping crickets and the squeaking squirrels. I took a deep breath and enjoyed the tranquility the forest gave me.

I got to my bunker and went down the elevator to the second floor which is almost like a house.
Its got a kitchen, a living room and three ensuit bedrooms, which i don't know why I  have, and a bathroom.

I went straight to the refrigerator that was in the kitchen. Th3 refrigerator was depressingly empty except for a couple of bottles of water.

"Damn. Jace needs to go shopping."

I closed the door and went to the cupped and i successfully found peanutbutter and jam. I took some bread out and a knife, evenly spread the two to the edges and took a bit. I moaned in joy. It wasn't a fancy lunch or anything special but i was hungry and it was food so i was going to enjoy every bite of it.

I took a look around the kitchen. It was black and steel. Black wood bar stools stood next to a black marble counter in the middle of the rrom that was opposite the unused stove. The cupboards were made with the same wood as the bar stools. There was a lot of counter space that spread round the enter room with only a break for the sink and fresh out of the box dishwasher with also a microwave and toaster that was at the right side of the stove which was also at the right side of the refrigerator. The drawers were by the main counter and filled with stainless steel cutlery, pots, plates, cups and glasses. I put the bread back in the bread bin that was above the microwave and the peanut butter and jam in the above cupboards.

It was the sought of kitchen you eould sern in a magazine, just bigger and in three D. The room was clean but plain. It had no personality. In fact the whole floor had no personality or meaning. It mattered not to me. It was safer and better for me that way. No attachments. Just like my life, no attachments.

After i finished eating, i went to the master bedroom which had the same colour scheme. Black wood floor, black bed cover on the queen sized bed and four pillows, black head board, dressing table and cupboard. The silver came in the form of trimmings on the cover, two throw pillows, a fluffy rug, sheets and the door knobs.

I went to the cupboard, grabbed some workout clothes and changed. I now had on a white tank, black three quarter leggings and a black pair of trainers.

I left the room and went to the third floor for my mask and the knives Jace had given me then to the garage for my ride.

A couple of minutes later i was entering the palace gates. I left my bike at the same place and made my way through to the grounds.

I had made a mental plan of how i was going to train the guards and the pthet warriors when they arrived. I had five minutes until four o'clock so I sat down and waited.
