"You promised us a war." SweetPeas voice growls. "Then your on stage looking like Buddy Holly, sucking up to the north side?"
"We need those votes, SweetPea. It's the only way we can affect any change." Jughead defends. Whoever's elected gets a seat in the school board. That means we're on the inside, that means they can't silence us."
"You, and the Northside princess you mean?" Fangs interrupts. I punch him in the arm annoyed at him.
"What is that why you guys are pissed?" Jughead raises his voice. I share a sad glance with Betty as the boys talk. "Betty's on our side!"
Betty speaks up for herself. "Yeah. I've helped the serpents on numerous occasions. I helped find general Pickens head, I got Cheryl to testify in court so that Fp, your king could get early parole."
"You did all that for your boyfriend, not the serpents." SweetPea looks at Betty and shares a glance with me. My eyes were burning into him, anger rising. Why did they have to put Betty down like that?
"Alright take it down SweetPea." Jughead glares at him.
"What, it's only a matter of time before she nails on us, just like her mother." SweetPea scoffs. I was about to start an argument with my boyfriend but Betty beats me to it.
"Okay so your objections aren't even about me, their about my mom."
"-Exactly!" I say out loud.
"Her legacy, Yeah. She's an enemy of the Serpent state." If only SweetPea knew how stupid he sounded right now. "Taking shots at us in the register for years. Blaming us for crimes we didn't commit. Running with a turncoats daughter is a slap in the face." SweetPea argues.
"Or," I take my crossed legs off the table and walk up to the front. "It could be a benefit. Betty is respected by many people in this town, and if she runs with us, maybe others will too." I reason.
"That doesn't change the fact that she's still the daughter of a traitor. And for that reason alone, your not getting the Serpent vote." He looks to Jughead.
I growl frustratedly and stomp out of the classroom.

"What do you mean Cheryl's missing?" Veronica asks Toni.
"Do you remember how paranoid Cheryl was at her slumber party saying that her mom and uncle were out to get her?" We nod. "Well I think that they did something to her!"
"What kind of something?" I ask crossing my arms now curious.
"Her mom said they sent her to some boarding school in Switzerland."
"Well that's easy enough to check. There's only one. Sue cal Montreux." Veronica says.
"Please if Cheryl was in the Swiss Alps, she'd be posting parka selfies every hour." Toni chuckled. "Her social media has been dead for days."
"She could be at sisters of quiet mercy." I speak up.
"Maybe." Toni glances at me trying to see if I looked upset. Honestly it didn't bother me anymore. But I couldn't go back there. "We can check there first. Are you going Shana?"
"Nah I'm good. But if you find Cheryl there tell me." Toni nods and all of the girls separate.
I went to the locker room to change.

Jughead calls us and tells us that Betty was in trouble. Now we were on our way there. "Pea, Fangs let's go!" I yell while walking outside. I hear them groan. I chuckle grabbing the keys to the truck. "Here older bro." I throw the keys back and I turn to see fangs trying to catch the keys. I laugh and run to the car. " Shotgun!" I yell hopping into the passenger side. SweetPea groans and I smile.
We make it to Betty's house just in time to see a parade of South side Serpents revving down the road with their motorcycles. Normally the boys didn't use their bikes, and I was yet to own one.
We all meet up with Jughead who was already waiting outside on his bike. "You guys ready?" He asked. The small group of Serpents started cheering; me included and we walked up to the house. Jughead breaks down the door, and we barge in with our switch blades. Betty stands there with her mother and brother named chic. Across from them say a blonde woman, and a middle aged man probably in his 40's.
"You think you two can take all of us?" Betty smirks confidently. "Try it."
"You brought backup," the woman's southern accent showed as she talked. "Does that mean you want me to go to the sheriffs, start making a stink?" The woman beamed.
"Well that's your call, but my back up and me, we're friends with the sheriffs son, so whose side do you think he'll pick?" Betty hums confidently
I push through the crowd of Serpents making myself known. The woman shrunk back a little as I glared at her. "The Coopers are one of the most respected family's in Riverdale." I smirk. "You two.. well you're just a couple of Centerville scumbags." I cross my arms devilishly.
"Anything that was in your car, the swamp washed away, else we'd have heard about it by now, so why don't you just grab the money and run." Betty tells them feeling proud of herself.
There was a long pause until eventually the two grabbed the money off the coffee table and left. All the serpents except Jughead and I followed them out. Mrs Cooper lets out a breath of relief.

I sat next to Betty side hugging her as her mom cleaned up the mess. Jughead walked in soon after. "Sorry about your door Miss Cooper." Jug apologized.
"Thank you Jughead, Shana. Thank your friends for me." She spoke softly.
"We're Serpents, it's what we do," I reassure her. Betty had gotten up to hug her boyfriend.
"Betty you have been telling me something that I didn't want to hear." Tears filled Mrs Coopers eyes as she spoke. "And I'm sorry. But chic," she turns to the blonde boy sitting on the couch. "You've put us in danger twice now. So I Think that.. you should do what you said and leave this house." I could tell this was hard for her to say.
He nods. "I will, I'll find a place."
"Do it quickly," I could hear the hurt in her voice as she talked. "Because you're not gonna spend another night here." She finished, picking up the trash can and leaving the room.
"Come on lets go," Jug tells me, and I follow him out. "Need a ride?" He asked as we got out.
  "Sure, Thanks." I reply.
"No problem." He swings his leg over the bike and revs the engine. I follow in suit. I don't remember the last time I've been on a bike.
Once I get home a message popped up on my phone.
Toni: Hey just letting you know, we got Cheryl back. You were right; she was at The sisters.
Shana: Great! I was really worried. Tell her if she ever needs to talk about it I'm here.
Toni: Will do 😁
I smile to myself. I'm glad Cheryl was safe.
A/N: Hi guys 😅😅 I know I owe you an explanation.. I said I was gonna post that week but I didn't. That was like almost two months ago or something. Sorry about that. I kinda took a break from riverdale for a bit, because of this show called Supernatural (highly recommended btw) and I actually watched through like five seasons in that month so yeah call me obsessed am I right? 😂. Well anyways I will try to finish this story as fast as I can, and just saying the ending will probably be surprising to many of you 🤭 I've said to much. Okay bye, lol sorry for this long ass authors note 😘
