Carrie the musical

The whole Morning I had been practicing for the Carrie the Musical. and now it was time for our  first practice.We sit in a circle of seats on the stage. "Welcome, to Carrie the Musical," Kevin smiles blissfully. The sound of a chair getting pulled across the floor was heard and Fangs shows up and sits on it. "-Okay, thanks." I roll my eyes.

"Okay, next introductions." Kevin hums.

"I'm Archie, I'm playing Tommy Ross. The boy next door." Archie mumbles as jughead zooms in on his face with the camera.

"I'm Betty, I play Sue Snell. The good girl."

"Veronica Lodge, playing mean girl, Chris Hargenson," Veronica smiles with confidence.

Cheryl stands up abruptly. "I'm Cheryl Blossom, playing the iconic role of Carrie White." She smiles. I notice people giving her mean looks.

Someone coughs loudly, "Tone deaf." I couldn't make out who it was though.

It was my turn. "I'm Shana Fogarty, and I'm going to be the head supervisor of stage crew," I say swiftly.

"Who's playing Carrie's mom? Margret White?" Ethel asks.

"I am," The door opens and Alice struts in.

"Ah," Kevin smiles.

"-Mom?" Betty asks shocked.

"Wait, seriously?" Ethel asks with anger in her tone and I give her a look.

we all look at Kevin. "Settle down. Yes, it's untraditional but to me, there's nothing more amateur than age-inappropriate casting." Kevin explains.

"Can you hold that? Thanks." Alice hands Ethel her purse. "I'm really looking forward to getting to know who this woman is, you know, get under her skin. And of course spend some quality time with my daughter, Elizabeth."

The door opens and none other than Chuck Clayton walks in. Cheryl's eyes go wide. "Uh sorry, I thought rehearsals were in the music room."

"No problem," Kevin dismisses. "All are welcome here." He gives the group a warning glance.

....

"Okay. Act one scene one." Kevin pronounces as he sits next to Fangs.

"Actually, before we begin," Cheryl stands up and slams the book on her chair abruptly. "I've heard whisperings that some of you ensemble vultures don't think I'm fit to play or sing the role of Carrie White. So to settle this matter once and for all... Maestro?"

"-Okay, uh, Cheryl--"

"That's not my naaaaammmeee!" Cheryl starts singing. after she does a whole song we stare at her flabbergasted. Toni starts clapping and we all follow her.

"Wow. I think I speak for everyone when I say that was undeniable, Cheryl." Kevin applauds.

Cheryl starts walking when a sand bag drops right in front of her and she screams. We all gasp staring in shock.

After that practice Kevin revealed to us that he was sent a threatening note saying Cheryl cant be Carrie white so after a while of convincing we converted Carrie white from Cheryl, to Midge Klump. Now i was at The Coopers house and its opening night. "You girls excited? Tonight's the big night!" Alice smiles gleefully.
