For Randhir, life in the village had been going smoothly. Everyone respected him and sought his help—except the Aggarwals. Every time they appeared, they would glare at him or issue subtle threats. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't understand why they behaved this way.
Another week passed, and Sanyukta along with her brothers began frequenting the area where he was staying. Their presence made him question himself: had he unknowingly done something to offend them? Every time he asked someone about the Aggarwals, the villagers would shiver in fear and flee.
Even Lakshman's response was the same as everyone else's. With a trembling voice, he warned,
L: "Yeh log bohat khatarnak hai. Aap in se door hi rehna, wohi acha hai."
Randhir could not fathom why one family could inspire so much fear. With a deep breath, he decided to focus on his work and ignore them.
One day, while speaking to his family on the phone in his room, he suddenly heard loud noises outside. He quickly made an excuse and cut the call, rushing to the door to see what was happening.
Peering out, he saw villagers running in every direction, desperate to save themselves. His eyes scanned the chaos, and then he froze. Behind a tree, a police inspector was hiding, firing in one direction. His gaze shifted—and there, behind a car, were Sanyukta and her brothers, holding guns and returning fire at the inspector.
Randhir's eyes widened. The scene unfolding in front of him was unimaginable.
Sanyukta moved forward with calm precision. A single shot, and the inspector collapsed, dead on the spot. She smiled slightly at the lifeless body, and her brother approached, patting her shoulder in silent appreciation.
Then they saw him—Randhir, standing at the doorway, completely frozen.
S: "Doctor, tune aaj jo dekha na... woh bhul ja. Waise maan tane ithe dhair kar sakon, par mane mare gaon ke logo ki chinta se."
(She smirked, her eyes gleaming.)
Randhir was so shocked he could not utter a word. They left, but he remained rooted at the entrance of his house, trying to process the unimaginable.
Meanwhile, back at the Aggarwal mansion, Sanyukta and her brothers returned home. Their father, Kishore, was sitting on the sofa, smiling knowingly. Sanyukta sat beside him and hugged him tightly. He hugged her back, a proud smile spreading across his face. Her brothers were seated on the remaining sofas, relaxed.
K: "Ke samjh raha tha? Woh darogha apde apko mare dhande ke baare mein sab ko bataye ga... aur main honde doun ga."
P: "Haan babu, naya naya bharti hua tha. Bohat charbi chardi si... sari ki sari uttar gayi."
(He laughed, and the entire family burst into laughter with him.)
Hours later, Randhir returned to his modest house. He sat on his bed, staring blankly ahead, trying to swallow what he had just witnessed. The day's events replayed in his mind like a nightmare—and yet, he could not look away. The Aggarwals were not just intimidating—they were dangerous beyond anything he could have imagined.
