Chapter 12 - Gifts and Shopping

Jessie’s POV

I woke up feeling warm kisses trailing up my arm and to my neck. I was tangled in the sheets with Derek, both of us….naked.

 I smiled when he kissed his mating mark on my collarbone. It was a Triskele, like the tattoo on Derek’s back.

  I rolled over and faced him. “Morning Derek,” I greeted.

 “Morning Jess,” he greeted back. His kissed me before rolling on top. “I got you something,” he said before leaning over a bit, which gave me the perfect view of his abs. I smiled and kissed them. My smile only grew when I heard him growl. After he got what he was looking for, he faced at me again. He sat up in bed, and immediately pulled me so that I stranded him. I felt Derek put something in my hand and looked down. It was a golden triskele necklace, and it was absolutely beautiful.

“You got this….for…for me?” I asked.

 “Of course. You’re my girl, I love you,” Derek said. I smiled. “I love you too,” I replied. “Now, put it on me,” I demanded.  Derek chuckled before  putting the necklace on me. “It’s beautiful,” I said admiring the necklace.

 “Just like you,” Derek replied. I smiled at the cheesiness of it, but I didn’t care. I loved him. I kissed him and he kissed back. “I have to go talk to Peter, will you be okay?” he asked.

 “Yeah, I think I’ll ask Lydia and Allison if they want to go shopping,” I said. Derek nodded.

 “Just be careful, love,” Derek replied. I nodded. “You don’t have to worry, Derek. I don’t anyone would want to mess with Alpha’s mate,” I smirked. He smiled before kissing me again. We both got out of bed and took a shower. After that Derek left.

Let me fill you in a bit of what’s happened.

It’s been 2 months since the whole Kanima thing ended. And a lot has happened.

 Derek moved into a loft, which we are in right now. Isaac lived here too, but he was with Scott at the moment. Derek and I were dating now, and everyone (Scott, Stiles, Peter, Allison, Lydia, Isaac) knew about it.

 Also I had started talking more, but only around the people I knew which were Derek, Isaac, Peter, Scott, Stiles, Allison and Lydia. I hanged around Allison and Lydia quite a lot seeing as they were the only other girls besides Erica, but Boyd and her left. I really miss them. I wonder if they found another pack yet.

 Jackson had moved to London after Derek taught the way of the werewolf. Talk about an American werewolf in London.

 I still hadn’t been able to change into a werewolf. Derek says that it must’ve been something to do with when I was rejected.

 Also, I received a mail package that had my name in it. Which was weird.

 Flashback

 I was sitting in Derek’s loft alone, because Derek was catching up on stuff, or whatever he was doing. I was reading a book on werewolves. That’s when I heard a knock on the door. I got up and slid the loft door open. I saw a man, dressed in a mail-man outfit with a bag full of mail.

 “Hi, can I….help you?” I asked.

 “Yeah, are you Jessie Olcan?” he asked.

 “Yes,” I said hesitantly.

 “I have a package for you,” he said handing me a clipboard to sign. I did and he gave me the yellow package. “Have a nice day,” he said before leaving. I nodded and slid the door closed.

 I walked over to the table as I ripped off the top of the package and tilted it over.

 A silver key slid out along with three-thousand dollars’ worth in bills. “Holy crap,” I muttered. I pulled out a sheet of paper with an address on it followed by short letter.

 Dear Jessie,

 Hope you love the gift.

 Love C.J

  

Who the hell is C.J? I looked at the paper with the address on it before putting everything back into the envelope and hiding it.

 End Flashback

 I pulled out my phone, which Derek, Boyd, Erica and Isaac had bought me for surviving my first full moon even though I didn’t change, and texted Lydia.

 Me
-Hey Lydia, you and Allison want to go shopping?-

Lydia
-Yes, Allison and I would love to. We’ll pick you up at Derek’s-

Five minutes later, Lydia pulled up in her car with Allison. I smiled and headed down grabbing the package on the way out. I jumped into the back of the car. “Hey,” I greeted.

 “Hey, what’s that?” Lydia asked pointing to the package.

 “Someone mailed this to me. It has an address in it along with a key and a lot of money,” I said. “I was wondering if we could stop by, see what all of this is about,” I added.

 Lydia nodded and started driving. I told her the address and we came to an apartment building. All three of us walked in and into the elevator. We went up to the top floor and were there was only one door. I took the silver key out and the door unlocked with a ‘click’.

 We walked in. “Holy shit,” Lydia said. The apartment was huge and beautiful.

 "Okay, nobody tell anyone else about this," I said.

"Why?" Allison asked.

"Just because," I replied. "I don't want anyone to know that someone sent me a key to an outstanding apartment along with Three-Thousand dollars in cash," I added. Lydia and Allison both nodded.
