 Isaac's POV

I watched as Derek kneeled next to her and lifted her fragile body. He bared his fangs and bit down on her neck. Suddenly her eyes snapped open as she gasped before going unconscious again. Derek let go of her and stood up. I listened to her heartbeat, it was beating regularly. I gently picked Jessie up in my arms and followed Derek out of the house. When we got to Derek’s I carefully set her down on the seats of the old train car.

Jessie’s POV

I slowly opened my eyes seeing a curved metal roof above me. I turned my head, seeing seats, like those on trains. Where was I? Was I in a…..train car? I sat up slowly, pain immediately radiating through my body. I whimpered. “Easy, you’re still healing,” a deep voice came. I jumped when a guy suddenly appeared in the doorway. He had jet black hair and beautiful green eyes. I scooted away from him in fear. He came closer to me. Tears started to wield in my eyes as he came closer.

“It’s okay, I’m not going to hurt you. Just stay calm,” he said softly. He kneeled down in front of me. “I’m Derek, Derek Hale. Isaac found you yesterday almost dead, and I gave you a second chance,” he said. I tilted my head, confused. Suddenly his eyes turned to a dark red and his teeth grew to fangs. “I’m a werewolf,” he said. He turned back to normal.

I just sat there, not knowing what to do. I looked up to him then felt my neck when I felt a little bit of pain there. It felt like a…..bite mark. If he was a werewolf and I was bit, then I was changing. He changed me. I suddenly felt scared and Derek seemed to notice.

“It’s okay. Isaac, Erica and Boyd are all werewolves. I am your alpha, you’ll do whatever I say, understand,” he said. I nodded. Suddenly got a wave of sickness throughout my body and I bent over, only to throw up black blood. I gasped for air as it got harder to breathe. I fell to my hands and knees as black blood began to ooze from my nose and all the open wounds that my body had. My skin started to burn, as if someone was using a torch upon it. I couldn’t breathe, it hurt so much. Derek had backed away from me and was looking at me wide eyed.

Derek’s POV

I watched in horror as Jessie threw up black blood. I didn’t know what to do. As soon as she wet unconscious, I picked her up and took her to Deaton’s.

As soon as I walked in to Deaton’s clinic, he told me to bring her into the back. I did so and set her onto the metal table. Black blood still continued to poor from her bite mark and all the other previous wounds that were caused from her father.

 “What happened?” Deaton asked.

“The bite rejected her,” I stated. Deaton was quiet. I could tell something was wrong. “What?” I asked.

“I’ve seen people get rejected before, it was never like this…..” Deaton trailed off.

“What do you mean?” I asked. In truth I was worried for Jessie, she was so fragile and so small. She didn’t even look as if she could’ve survived the bite. I looked her over, she was deathly pale and she was covered in black blood. Maybe I should’ve let her die when I found her with Isaac last night.

“Derek,” Deaton’s voice snapped me from my thoughts. I looked at Deaton. “Go get some sleep, you look like you need it. She will be safe here,” he said. I didn’t really want to leave her. Then again, why should I care about someone I just met?

I left Deaton’s and went back to the underground train hideout.

A/N: Hey guys, I'm not sure if I captured Derek's personality very well, so please tell me if it was ok. And please don't be rude :)

And, I've changed Jessie's age to 17 years old instead of 16.
