Me and my friend have always wanted a dream life. One that not all girls have. So they usually keep wishing for it, but this wish changed not just our lives but everything. ______________________________________
"WAKE UP EMMALEE!!", Lucy yelled at me.
"Okay I'm up, GOSH.", I said while sitting up.
"Good, cause you got 30 minutes to get ready.", she said as she exited the room.
That's my friend Lucy, she is always the early bird in our friendship. Me and her grew up together. Lucy lives right across the street so she always comes and wakes me up, because my mom leaves for work every morning at 5.
Oh yeah I forgot to mention that my name is Emmalee and I'm 18. I'm a senior and I'm not a morning person if you have noticed.
Anyways after I get up I go and get clothes out of my closet and take a shower. Then I change into white shirt that had a gold adidas with a jean jacket and ripped jeans with white adidas. The next thing I do is my makeup and hair, which I curl it and do a natural look for makeup. And Lucy changed into a white crop top, with a flannel and black leggings and gray boots.

Then after all that I got downstairs and ate a donut and then I grab my car keys. And as soon as I unlock the car Lucy comes and jumps in and we take off.
"So have you heard?"
"Heard about what?"
"OMG, you actually haven't heard. "
"Oh My Gosh, just tell me!"
"Okay. Why Don't We is chosing two people to come to the LA concert and to move in with them for a month or two."
"OMG, REALLY!!"
Then we basically screamed the rest of the way to school, while talking about convincing our moms.
When we got to school we grabbed our things and went straight to our lockers, where all our friends happen to be. We had about 5 other friends. They included Molly, Haley, Alexis, Karmen, and Katie.
E:Whatzzzz,up, GIRLSSS! all: Ahahahahah L:So have you guys heard about the contest. M: No not at all, it ain't like you haven't sent us all the updates. Then Lucy gave Molly a little punch in the arm, which made everyone laugh. Then after that we all went to class. _______________________________________Time Skip Cause school is boring
School ended early for Lucy and I because we only had 5 classes instead of 7. So we decided to hang out at my house.
When we got there Mom was there and was working on laundry.
"Hey mom."
"Hey so how was school?"
"Like it always is, boring."
"Well that's nice."
"Well hey mom I was wandering if I could sign up for contest, and Lucy is probably going to do it too."
"What kind of contest?"
"A Why Don't We contest."
"What is in this contest?"
"Just a trip to LA for a month or two and a concert."
"I don't know about that Emmalee."
"Please, mom."
"I will have to think about that, but get upstairs with Lucy and have some fun."
"Okay, come on Lucy.", I said while walking upstairs.
When me and Lucy get up there we got on my laptop and started signing up for the contest, whether or not we are supposed to.
"Are you sure about this Emma, cause my mom definitely stated a no and your mom never really answered."
"Well my mom never gave me a answer plus it says the winner gets to bring a friend so technically if I win I can choose you."
"Okay well if we get in trouble I'm blaming you."
"I'm okay with that.", I said right after I got done and sent it in. "Okay we're in."
Then me and Lucy basically watched movies and ate pizza. Then that all ended at 8 right before Lucy went home we sat at my window seat and stared at the sky.
"Do you think we have a chance out of like the thousands of people or even millions?"
"I don't know, but I know something we can do."
"And what is that?", she said turning to look me in the eye.
"Well I mean there goes a shooting star, we could just wish."
"Okay, let's try.", she said as we both looked up at the sky and wished with all our hearts.
And right after that Lucy's mom called for her to go home so she went and I was left there alone in my room. So I went and laided on my bed as I still watched the stars wandering if it could really happen. Then about 15 minutes later I fell asleep and let me tell you it was the best sleep I have ever had.
