Chapter 34:Come Back

We had been driving for a good 30 minutes when we finally pulled up to this beautiful mansion that was right on the beach. Damn I'm a lucky son of a bitch right now. I guess Daniel noticed my expression because he started smiling real big.
Dani:"So you like the place?"*laughing*
Grace:"Like it! That's an understatement. It's.. it's... that's it I'm speechless."
It's bigger than Why Don't We's house ever could be but I won't mention them. Not again unless we somehow run into each other.

Eben:"So are you gonna get out, or are you coming in?"
Grace:"Idk, I think I could inside or outside."
I said while jumping out and running towards the door right behind Eben.
As soon as he unlocked the door and let me in first, I swear I could have just fainted. This place was amazing and it even had its own studio and office area. And don't let me forget it also had a huge pool and hot tub and not to mention the view of the beach.
Eben:"So your room is upstairs, first door on the right, and...."
And before Eben could even finish I was done bolted up the steps right to my door. And when I opened the door... let's just say oh my lord. I had a actual bath and beautiful shower, along with a beautiful balcony view. Oh my lord I swear I could just die right now. I was about to just scream out in happiness until I heard someone behind me.
Dani:"Sorry to disturb you, but you forgot your own luggage." He said with a giggle.
Grace:"Oh yeah...sorry I just am not used to a place like this, and I mean look at the place it has everything and is huge. And I'm rambling again ain't I?"
Dani:"Maybe just a little bit."
Which made us both giggle, making me and him both blush and slowly look up to each other.

I don't know how long we held that stare but it felt amazing. It felt like he really understood me and could relate with me on so many different levels. But one thing that caught me off guard was how much this stare felt memorable, like I have seen these eyes before. But before I could continue my study of those beautiful blue eyes of his, Eben stepped into the room.
Eben:"Did I... interrupt something?"
And before I could answer Daniel turned to Eben and spoke.
Dani:"No I was just bringing Grace her stuff, she left in the car."
I could tell Eben wasn't buying it but I guess he was ok with it because he snapped right back out of his trance between us.
Eben:"Ok whatever, but I came to tell you guys the boys are coming over later for a game night. And Grace if you want your invited."
He says as he walks off.
Grace:"Ok I'll think about it!" I half way yell to make sure he heard me.

Dani:"So do you possibly want a tour of this place before the boys come over?" He says with a little smirk.
Grace:"I would love one." I said with a little twirl around my room as I met him at my door.
Dani:"Ladies first."
Grace:"Oh what a gentleman."
I said which made us both giggle.

The first place Daniel showed me was both living rooms, then the kitchen, then the recording studio, and then he took me back upstairs to show me who's bedroom is who's.
Dani:"And this one across from yours is mine."
Grace:"Wait you live here too?"*smiling*
Dani:"Yeah it's me, Eben, and Evan which is Eben's photographer."
Grace:"Wait he lives with his own photographer?!"
Dani:"Yeah! How is that a surprise."
He said as he opened the door and held his arm out pointing me to go in first.

As soon as I went in I was about knocked down by the strong smell of cologne. But trust me it was the good kind, which made me smile immediately. He must have noticed cause he closed the door and followed in slowly. I was walking around his room when I saw a part of something shiny sticking out behind some papers so I walked over to it and lifted the papers to find a necklace that said Daniel. And that's when it all came rushing back. All the pain I had with the boys and how this Daniel looked the same as the other just a little different style. That's when I realized the boys coming over later were them. I was gonna see them again. I was also possibly going to see the girls later too. Man this is all to much for one day. I felt a lot of pressure starting to happen on my chest so I sat the necklace down and started gripping the desk, as my nails dig into it.
Dani:"Uh Grace, are you okay?" He asks as he gets closer, which I don't like.
Grace:"Yeah I'm fine." I say as I start walking back towards the door.
Dani:"Are you sure, cause it seems like your acting weird now?"He says starting to get closer.
Grace:"I have a question for you Daniel, and I want you to answer it honestly, ok?"
Dani:"Yeah sure anything Gracen."
Grace:"Do you seriously not remember me?"
Dani:"What do you mean, remember you? I've never known a person named Gracen?"
Grace:"Not name Daniel. Don't you remember me?"
Dani:"I don't understand, what are you trying to say? Have I seen you before?"
Grace:"Yes but... apparently in a different life." And with that I bolt out his door across the hall and into my room, as I shut my door and lock it as I slide down it. And that's when I couldn't hold it anymore. The tears started pouring down face so fast that I could barely breathe. How? How does he not remember all that happened? How does he not remember me? How does he not remember all the good times? Just how? How could he change so much? Just how could he?
