Chapter 20: Are you Cheating?

Emmalee's POV
Me:"Where am I?"
I sat up real quick and started breathing heavy and I couldn't stop for some reason I couldn't feel anything at this moment. Then it went black, again
The second time I woke up to beeping and someone walking around the room. When I looked over I saw Daniel pacing back and forth and some dude sitting in a chair close to me. I didn't realize who it was till he looked up at me, so I closed my eyes real quick hoping he didn't see me, but then I thought his gaze was gone till I opened my eyes again to be caught by his.
Alex:"Daniel she's up!"
Dani:"Oh thank the lord!"
Then Dani ran over to me and I could tell he had been crying. After he reached me all I could do was hug him because I had nothing to say. I was kind of confused and was about to ask why I was in the hospital but before I could ask Dani's phone rang and I looked at it to notice it was Angi.
Dani:"Hold on I have to take this?"
Then he left the room to just me and Alex.
Alex:"Are you okay?"
I couldn't look at him so I just shook my head.
Alex:"Are you sure?"
I shook my head again not looking at him.
Alex:"Are you going to talk to me?"
Then I shook my head no as I was staring out the window next to my bed.
Alex:"Look Emma I'm sorry, it's not my fault.."
Me:"Puff, not your fault then who's fault is it?!"*giving him a angry look*
Alex:"Look she came to..."
Me:"Alex just shut up! I don't want to talk about it."
Then Dani ran in.
Dani:"Did I miss anything?"*looks between the both of us*
I could tell Daniel knows there is something between us or more like was something between us but he ruined it. He ruined it with that stupid blonde girl.
Dani:"Okay, well they said if your feeling good you could go home today, but you have to take it easy."
Me:"I'm good now can we go?"*starts getting up*
Dani:"Wait! Here put these on. Come on Alex."
Then he pulled Alex out of the room and I changed into a gray crop, black leggings, white vans, and a Nike jacket for over top. Then I looked to my left and found a necklace that said Daniel, and put it on, which I didn't even know I had.

After that I fluffed out my hair and headed out of the room.
When I found the lobby I noticed Corbyn sitting in the chair across from the desk, all alone, I would have thought he wouldn't have come after everything with Christina, but maybe he does care.
Me:"Corbyn?"*quietly*
Then he looks up straight at me I can tell he had tears in his eyes.
Me:"Are you okay?"
Corb:"I don't know."
Me:*sits down beside him*"What do you mean?"
Corb:"Look I need to tell you something but I can't."*looks down*
Me:"Corb's you can tell me anything."
Corb:"Look I cant."
Me:"Why, why can't you tell me?"
Corb:"Because it might hurt you and Daniel?"
Me:"How would this hurt us?"
Corb:"Because I...I..I..can't."
Me:"Bean come on please? Did Daniel do something?"
Corb:"Well that's part of it."
Me:"Wait what did he do?"
Corb:"Look for yourself, around that corner."
Then he pointed at the stairs across from my room so I kind of sped walked over to it and looked through the glass part of the window to see a dark headed boy and girl making out. Wait is that Daniel and ....and Angi??!

I started backing away but my feet had different plans. I walked into the staircase angrily as Daniel and Angi jumped up startled.
Me:"WHAT THE HELL DANIEL!?"
Dani:"Look it's not what it looks like?"
Then he grabbed my arm but I pulled my arm out of his hand.
Me:"NO DANIEL! This doesn't just happen! GET OUT OF MY LIFE AND STAY THERE!"
Dani:"But Emma?"
Me:"NO!"
Then I pulled the Daniel necklace I had on and through it at Angi's face.
Me:"AND YOU DONT TALK TO ME!"
Angi:"Wait Emma?"
Then I ran out of the stairs and ran into Corbyn who was standing outside the stairs.
Corb:"Are you okay?"
Me:"Yeah I just need to get out of here."
Then he grabbed my hand and wrapped one arm around me and we walked fast out away from the stairs and away from Daniel. But I took one last look to see Angi and Daniel arguing, before Corbyn helped me get into the car.
