Locked Away on Accident

"Finn the Human, on accounts of theft and attempted murder, you're hereby sentenced to 17 years in prison!"

"But I didn't do it! What proof do you have that says I'm guilty?!"

"You are one of the few people able to be close to Princess Bubblegum and the only other two are your brother and her personal butler, both of which have confirmed alibi's placing them away from the scene at the time."

"It wasn't me! I swear! You have to believe me!"

"Take him away!"

Those words echo in my head as the prison transport vehicle bumps along the road towards Wizard City. It was chosen because I was deemed a 'formidable threat' and couldn't just be thrown into the dungeons of Bubblegum's kingdom. Especially because they think I'm the one who hurt her and tried to steal her crown, even though I did no such thing. And I would know since I was there. She had hurt herself to near unconsciousness and I went to help her, noticing that her crown was on the floor next to her. I guess since she saw me with it and next to her that she thought I was responsible for 'hurting her and attempting to take her crown'. Unbelievable.

We soon come up to the gates of Wizard City and the driver says the password to enter, a doorway forming and opening in the wall in front of the vehicle. I don't see it myself, since there's only a small window on the side of the vehicle, but since I soon see the streets of the city slowly rumbling by out said window, that's how I know. I try to stay away from where people can see me, though, because I really don't want them to. I'm sure I can salvage this situation somehow if I can find out what really happened and get proof that it wasn't me. But something happens when the vehicle stops at what I assume to be the prison gates. There's loud alarms going off and the sounds of a mass panic. Oh, snap, there's a breakout going on right now.

"Don't you think about going anywhere, human" The guard warns me as he goes to get out of the vehicle and round up the loose prisoners, "Because if you take one step out of this vehicle, I won't hesitate to put you down."

I believe him, so once he's gone, I stay put and watch, to the best of my ability, what's going on through the window. I'm only able to spot a couple wizards in orange jumpsuits run and get tackled to the ground by the wizard police, the criminals then getting turned to sticks after the police life up those face masks of theirs and hit them with their eye beam. The sticks are then picked up and carried by the wizard police as they go to hunt other escapees. Though I had seen it happen once before already, it was still nerve-wracking seeing it a second time. And since I don't want to be turned into a stick myself from trying to escape, because I doubt I'd even be able to get out of a vehicle that's locked from the outside anyway, I sit still and wait until the transport driver returns, the man opening the door and looking in the back compartment to see me still here.

"Good, you have some brains in you after all. More than most prisoners that get sent here" The driver remarks as he gets in his seat and drives us inside the prison.

Once the vehicle stops, the back doors open and two new wizard policemen come inside to escort me out. I'm essentially dragged out into the prison yard before being roughly escorted through a door and into what they call the 'processing area'. I'm forced to change out of my clothes and put on an orange jumpsuit, just like the one I had on when Bubblegum got her, Jake, and I sent here before. I'm then marked down in a book by another wizard policeman before the two that brought me inside keep pushing me further into the prison. They soon lead me into what looks like the cafeteria, which is open-aired and can view all the cells in the prison just by looking upwards. Instead of letting me eat, I'm taking to one of the staircases leading up towards the cells, going up about four flights of them before we stop on a floor. I'm then dragged down the hallway until they stop at one particular cell marked 4-7, the two guards opening the cell door and tossing me to the ground inside.
