Chapter 10

Tris POV:

Last night was amazing. I wasn't afraid. I actually wanted to do it. It was painful at first but it was worth it. I love him so much. I'm glad he was my first. I feel my self smile at the thought. I feel a hand brush my hair behind me ear and rests his hand on my face.

"Good morning ,beautiful." He says. His voice sounds really desirable.

I sigh and smile closing my eyes ,

" good morning."

"Are you sore? I can give you pain medication. Did I hurt you?"

I think it's nice that he cares. Unlike some guys who just do it and don't care about how the girls feel. Tobias is not like them. I'm glad he is the way he is. I fell in love with the best person I've ever met.

"A little but not a whole lot."

"I'm sorry if I did." He pulls me towards him and hugs me. We lay there for a while.

"Tobias." I say muffled in his bare chest.

"Yes." He sighs like he's relaxed.

"What time is it?"

He looks over my head and pulls back to look at me.

"6:46"

"We should get ready." I say while playing with his hair.

"For what?" He runs his hands down my body and stops at my waist.

"We are picking jobs at 7:15."

He groans and buries his face in my neck.

"We can't be late come on." I start to get up and I realize I have no clothes on.

"Umm.. Tobias can you hand me my clothes."

He laughs and he sits up and puts on his boxers. He stands and he gets my clothes and walks over to me.

"Here." He hands it to me and kisses my cheek.

"Thanks ." I smile up at him . I only put on my bra and underwear because I'm going to shower.

I turn on the water and wash my hair and body. I dry off and put on some black pants , black shirt and combat boots. I dry my hair and brush out and decide to leave it down. I look at my reflection in the mirror longer than I ever have. It doesn't feel normal because of Abnegation. I'm not in Abnegation. I'm here in Dauntless. I transferred for a reason , I shouldn't go by Abnegation rules anymore.

I walk out of the restroom and go to the kitchen and get two bowels and pour the cereal and milk.

"Tobias are you ready yet?" I yell. I feel his arms wrap around me from behind and I scream a little because he startled me. I turn around and kiss him.

"Breakfast is served." I say pointing to the bowels of cereal.

We both sit and it's a quiet breakfast. I was hungry, I guess he was to. When I'm done I take my bowl to the sink and so does he and we both walk to the Pit.

"Today you'll be choosing your jobs. If you are wanting to be an initiate instructor will be choosing another job for the rest of the year. Others will have a full time job. Choose wisely." Max say.

"Tris , since you were ranked first, you go first."

I walk up and write down an initiate instructor and tattoo artist.

"Next is Uriah. Ranked second." And they continue on.

I walk up to Tobias and he holds out his hand and I take it. We walk to the dining room and wait for others to come.

"Are you happy with what you picked?" He asks me.

"Of course. I get to be with you." I smile at him. He looks at my lips. I look at his. We both lean in as if on cue , and we kiss. I put one hand on his neck and one on his arm. He pulls me in at the waist and now I'm closer. I kiss him again I fall in love all over again.

"Okay, should I leave? " Uriah says walking towards us.

"Shut up, Uriah ." Tobias says annoyed .

After about 10 minutes the whole gang is here.

"So what did you pick Tris?" Peter asks me. Tobias puts his arm around my waist.

"Um.. I chose initiate instructor."

"Oh," he says disappointed," how about after that?"

"Tattoo artist." I say.

"Really?" He says happy. "Me too!"

Great.

"Oh cool." I say giving a pity smile . Tobias squeezes my waist to reassure he's there. I look at him and kiss his cheek. We get up and say our goodbyes and walk to the apartment. Me and Tobias just lay down talk, kiss , and cuddle for the rest of the day.
