A New Beginning: Alternate Ending To Allegiant

Chapter 12

Tobias POV:

The body hits the net. A girl wearing blue.

Erudite.

I pull her out if the net. She's short and has really dark brown hair. It's so dark it almost looks black.

"What's your name?" I ask her firmly.

"Megan." She she says nervously.

"First jumper, Megan!" I yell.

She walks towards Tris. I hear Tris say ,

"Welcome to Dauntless."

I smile a little. I remember when I said those words to Tris. I remember her being know as the first jumper. It's amazing at where she's at now. An instructor.

After all of them have jumped we divide the Dauntless borns and the transfers.

"Listen up." I say. They aren't talking that much. I'm not surprised.

"My name is Four," I look over to Tris.

"My name is Six." She says.

"We'll be instructors during your initiation."

"Why numbers? That's kind of weird , don't you have real names?" Someone from the crowd shouts.

I notice who it is. A tall boy, not as tall as me, from Candor.

I walk up to him.

"What's your name." I say firmly.

"Jarred." He practically mumbles.

"Well Jarred, if I wanted to deal with Candor smart mouths I would've joined their faction. You will learn to respect us. Do I make myself clear?"

He looks away with an attitude.

"Crystal." Jarred says.

"Good." I say and walk towards Tris. I nod at her.

"Follow us." she says.

We show them the Pit first. Then we show them the Chasm. Then the dormitory. We walk to the cafeteria for lunch.

Tris POV

Me and Tobias are with our friends while the transfers are eating lunch.

"So how were your transfers." Christina asks.

"Well I already have a problem with one boy." I complain.

"What faction is he from? "

"Candor." Tobias says making a face at her.

"Hey! Not all Candor all smart mouths." She protests.

"Mhmm." I say and take a bite of my sandwich.

I finish my lunch and so does Tobias.

"Let's go to the apartment. Lunch ends in an hour so we have time." Tobias says.

"For what?" I say smiling .

He doesn't answer me. He just smiles and slips his hand into mine.

+++ (their apartment)

"I'm going to take a nap." I say and go to the bedroom. I lay down and I feel relaxed. I close my eyes.

I hear the door open after at least 5 minutes and feel bare arms wrap around me. I smile.

I turn my body to face him.

"Well hi there." I say.

He looks at my lips and he pulls me in and kisses me. His lips are soft and warm. I wrap my leg around him. I smile into another kiss. He runs his hand up my back and I shiver . I roll on top of him and then I hear a knock at the door...
