Well, this is fucking awful.

Billie had told us all that because we are on tour, and because we're up in the hills of the countryside right now, that he wanted us all to go on a walk, or a hike as he called it.

Us all included me, Mike, Tré, Billie, Joey, Jakob, and annoyingly, Cole and Max.

Just, fuck this.

So that is exactly how I ended up walking up a steep slope with people I practically hated. I seethed silently, watching as Joey and Jake walked with Max and Cole and Billie and Tré walked up front together. I knew that Mike was behind me.

I let out a deep sigh as we headed further up, Billie's chirpy little voice making me want to set myself on fire.

I heard Mike grunt in disapproval from behind me. I didn't turn to look at him though, because I was still in a snit. I knew he was probably just having trouble carrying the rucksack with all of our food and drink in.

We kept walking, Billie and Tré singing a dumb song about some guy. I don't know, I wasn't paying attention.

Mike suddenly grabbed my hand and I jumped, turning around to look at him as he fell to the floor. What the fuck? Did he trip?

I knelt down and patted his face, frowning when he kept his eyes closed. "Guys!" I yelled, and Billie and Tré stopped singing, turning around at the same time. "Mike fell.." I started, and they both ran over.

"Fuck, I think he fainted." Billie said, as Tré took the rucksack off him. "Michael." Billie patted Mike's face until he woke up.

"Huh?" Mike mumbled, trying to sit up, but Billie pushed him back down.

"Stay right there. Did you eat today?" Mike shook his head and Billie narrowed his eyes. "Yesterday?" Mike shook his head again.

"Forgot." Billie and Tré sighed, heaving Mike up and walking him up to the top, sitting at the top of the hill when they arrived.

"Eat." Billie said, passing Mike a plate of food noticeably fuller than the rest before passing the other plates out.

We all started eating, Tré amusing us all with tales of previous tours.

After eating, I wandered off to sit behind a tree. I hated basically everyone here. I felt alone, I missed my mom. This sucked.

I looked up when I heard a noise, half expecting Mike but instead greeted with a blond kid. Cole? Max? Who really knew.

He sat down next to me, smiling kindly. "Hey."

"Which one are you?" I asked, and he looked slightly hurt.

"Cole."

"Yeah, that's right." I looked straight ahead, sighing softly as I hugged myself. It was starting to get cold.

"Are you cold?" Cole said, reading my thoughts.

I nodded once and he moved to slip his jacket off, draping it around my shoulders. I smiled, for the first time in a while.

"Thank you, Cole."

He smiled back, and I settled closer to him, now content.
