lunch

V and I sit at our usual table. Two of V's friends, ally and trace, sits down with us. I don't really consider Ally as a friend. But we socialize.

"hows your guys day been?" trace asks while swallowing her tea.

"it been satisfying." v says

"it's been okay," I respond

"hell" ally says rolling her eyes.

Ally is an okay girl. She usually gets Cs or Bs. Subtle to some people. She can be a troublemaker at times. I can see that she is a really bright girl, but she instead fit in than be a teacher's pet. She would always get taunted because she was so smart. But ever since high school start, shes changed.

"why? what's wrong?" v asks softly.

"Lucas wouldn't talk to me today. I don't know if he is angry or not." ally says playing with her fingers.

"did anything happen yesterday to make him mad?" I ask.

"I don't think so?" ally says with a troubled look.

"it will be okay." v says with a reassuring smile.

she rubs ally's back for a few seconds and then goes back to eating.

Ally smiles. Then it disappears away.

Lucas and ally have been dating for 8 months. They argue a bit... but they always figured it out together.

I continue to eat,, and I see Kaiden snickering with his friends. Gosh, anyone can fall in love with that laugh.

just hoped he knew who I was

Most people would describe him as a "bad boy." he gets in trouble a bit. Skips class. But he looks like such a gentle guy.

he glances at me, and I swing my head back at my food.

after school

"can you hang out with me?" v asks.

"yeah, I just need to tell my mom," I reply

I pull out my phone, and I message my mom that I am going to V's house.

v's house

we walk into v's house, and her mom is passed out on the couch with a bottle in her hand.

"must've been drinking." v rolls her eyes at sight.

We walk to her room, and I plop down on v's pink swivel lounge chair. V walks to her closet and dresses into pajama shorts and a white tank top.

"how was your day at school?" v asks me.

I look at her and roll my eyes.

"it's school. what do you think?" I say

"Well, my day was okay, thanks for being so concern about it." v says with a grin.

I scroll through Kaidens pictures, and I groan.

"whats up ana?" she says with a concerned look on her face.

"I despise having a hopeless crush on someone that I know ill never have," I say with a sad look on my face.

"try to be a closeted lesbian girl in high school." v roll her eyes.

Oh forgot to mention, she's lesbian. sorry boys

I roll my eyes.

"my bad, I overlooked you have it worse," I reply with a giggle.

"ana, if you need help, ill help you." v says with a bright look in her eye.

"how can you help?" I ask

v has a thoughtful look on her face.__
