"Why do you wake up?"
ToTy's head tilted to the side, a thing Coin noticed she did the rare times her 'mind' had to search for an answer she didn't know immediately.
"Well," she began unsurely. He watched her as her shoulders straightened and her head tilted up. She found the answer. "I've been programmed to wake up whenever my--"
Coin turned away from the silver-haired girl and hit the switch next to the sink, drowning out her words with the use of the garbage disposal. It'd been two weeks since Coin had been assigned to kitchen duty and he was truly grateful for the reassignment. The man was sure that if he had to wipe up the blood, sweat, and tears from another surface in the facility that he'd be the one causing such things. The only downside to it all was having to be the babysitter to a robot.
The gurgling sound ceased as an exasperated ToTy reached over flipping the switch and shooting him a dirty look before shoving him away from the sink.
Coin's head tilted in the same fashion as hers when she was 'thinking', but instead of thinking, he seemed interested in her for the first time since he was assigned to observe her.
"Getting bold aren't we, little robot?" he mused.
"I'm not a--"
"Anyway, I have work to do and you're holding me up. So if you could just..." He gestured for her to move away, but she stood her ground causing Coin's brow to raise. He nodded in acceptance to her resolution before he grabbed her from underneath her armpits and placed her on the countertop on the complete opposite side of the from him near the storage room.
