Chapter 4
<><><><>
I opened my eyes only to be blinded by a bright light. I squinted my eyes trying to figure out where I was. The last things I remember was the fight with the Chimera talking to the three strangers then the rest is blank. I opened my eyes once they us adjusted and looked around.
'Where the hell am I and where the hell is everyone else?' I wondered as I slowly sat up. I was in a small room resting in a bed and I noticed cabinets with medicines and herbs. 'I must be in a healers room' I thought as I swung my feet of the side of the bed and onto the floor. The floor was cool o the touch but I didn't mind.
'I wonder how long I've been out for' I thought with a frown as I tried to stand. I was a bit shaky on my feet and had a wave of dizziness rush over me. I just shook my head and started slowly walking to the door. Right as I went to open the door, it swung open, almost smacking me.
"Snow!!!!" Lucas yells as Sam, Cynthia, and him all pull me into a hug. "Uh yah nice to see you toa now will you let me go?" I ask as the suffocate me with there hug. They laughed and let me go. "Thank the gods your okay! The healers here said that you would probably die in the next couple of days, or that if you lived you would be out for at least a month!" Sam exclaims as we start walking aimlessly down the halls.
"How long was I out? And where am I? And where's everyone else?" I question as we continue to walk. Lucas gave out a laugh. "You've been out for about 7 hours" he replied. 'Damn what happened to the dying in a few days or staying unconscious for a month?' I wondered. "Oh and were in the Castle, and everyone else is in the throne room waiting for us to get back and tell them about you condition". Cynthia adds.
"We'll I guess I can go tell them myself" I laugh as we reach the doors of the throne rooms. Only then did I realize that I was still in my blood covered clothes from earlier. 'Thank the gods Cynthia knows I hate being changed by someone else or I would have blown a gasket there' I thought to myself with a small smile. I watched as the boys pushed the doors open, allowing me and Cynthia to walk through.
"Your Highnesses" me and Cynthia say as we kneel down in front of the where the Queen and three others, whom I presumed were her children, stood. "Rise. I do not believe I have meet you before, what is your name child?" Queen Guinevere questioned me. "The name is Snow White Your Majesty" I say as me and Cynthia stand as everyone turned towards me.
"But how? You were laying half dead in the cot no more then a couple hours past. They said you were as good as dead!" Damien questions his dark brown eyes open wide. "You didn't think you could get rid of me that easily did you Damien? Come on you should know me better then that, since when do I follow what someone says will happen to me?" I joke getting an eye roll from him.
"We'll at least your okay, poor little Damien here was upset that you might be dead, all and all he really cares for you" Jason piped up as he walked over and gave me a hug before getting a punch in the arm from Damien. I just laugh as he backs away rubbing his sore arm.
"Oh come on Damien, you know you wanna give me a hug. You know you missed me, besides who else would be able to make your life a living hell if I died" I say with arms open, earning an eye roll from him and a smile before getting walking over and hugging me. Just as he was about to let go he smacked me upside the head. "That was for being stupid and almost dying on us" he says pulling away.
I rubbed the back of my head and stuck my tongue out at him before turning back towards the throne, only now noticing that the three figures beside the Queen were the three that had come and talked to us before I passed out. "Wait a minute I know you three" I say as I look at Princess Lia and her two older brothers Prince James and Prince David. "Oh yes. Your the one who saved my life just over 7 hours past!" Princess Lia exclaims.
