Our rise cannot be stopped

"Is this finally the moment?"

All flames on Urgot's legs were burning. He sounded excited, and he had revealed his meat grinder.

Warwick dropped to four legs and got ready to lunge. Ziggs stood pretty cluelessly.

"We can always just escape", Warwick growled. He walked backwards, albeit very slowly.

"I have waited this too long." Urgot pressed a button on a remote control in his left hand.

Bang.

Two bombs exploded on either sides of the corridor, causing the way behind Warwick and Ziggs to block up.

"Nowhere to run... Who would save you now?"

"Stay back, and run when I say so", Warwick whispered to Ziggs's ear. "Understood."

Warwick leaned backwards.

Urgot took aim.

...

"I think we'll just tell you", Verna stated.

"Good", Tristana said smiling. She put the cannon to her back and sat down.
"Okay, first tell me what did that yordle you catched look like?"

Both girls thinked a moment. "His fur was brown with reddish hue. He had a backpack that looked like a bomb and safety goggles. Does that sound familiar?"

"Yes, it definitely is our friend. Why did you catch him?" Tristana said, trying to restrain the urge to shoot.

"Urgot said he'll reward everyone who participates catching him with 2000 credits." Natalia answered.

"Hmm... Was this planned for how long?"

Verna sat down too. Natalia leaned backwards in her wheelchair. "For months. Aren't you the ones who 'won' the trip to Zaun?"

Did they set up even that? This is deep.

"Yes, we are. Were you behind it too?"

"Yes. We only needed to bring the bomber guy here. We don't know why, but I have a suspicion", Natalia said.

"Tell me."

"Urgot has planned something big for almost two years. And I know that it involves a summoning ritual of some kind. Maybe your friend will be a sacrifice."

These girls don't know about the ring. It's wiser not to tell.

"How do you know about this?" Tristana asked another question.

"It is just an old legend, but the first thirty Chem-Barons - currently there are forty-five - had a deeper alliance than the one that exists now. They had similar jewels they always carried around, and their descendants now have them. Urgot has only killed these descendants recently."

"So what?"

Natalia coughed. "He has also taken those jewels when he has killed one. I once saw a jewel that kind, and it had a mark on it. A clear summoning rune."

Sounds bad. Ziggs is in grave danger.

"Okay. You can leave now. But don't tell anyone about this, and never come back to Zaun", Tristana said.

"That second part was our plan even before this", Verna laughed.

...

The two couldn't even scratch each other.

Warwick had dodged each bullet and chemfire shot so far, but couldn't get close to Urgot without risking to take a hit. He had succeeded to make a jump attack three times, but Urgot wasn't slow either, and had dodged them.

Their fight looked like dancing, so perfect and accurate were their moves. On top of that, neither of them showed any signs of tiring.

Suddenly, Warwick leaped backwards.

"Someone is coming", he mumbled.

Swoosh.

Blade connected to a wire hit right there where Urgot stood just a moment ago. It got pulled back, and Camille walked to the scene soon after.

"Dang, I almost hit. Now I need to handle this uncivilized way."

Urgot took advantage of the interruption and reloaded his arm gun. He also lit all his legs again.

"You again", Warwick growled.

"Can't you kill him even in a place like this? He even managed to kill my servant, now I think I have to do this myself", Camille continued with her typical arrogant tone.

Urgot readied his gun and pointed it towards Camille. "Leader of Clan Ferros, you don't look so cowardly as other people in your 'class'. You walked into place like this, impressive."

"I've never seen you, but you are just as ugly as I thought. Enough talk!" she shouted dashing to Urgot. The fight was similar, albeit Camille was more agressive than Warwick.

"Who's that?" Ziggs asked from Warwick.

"I have no idea, I bumped to her once on a rooftop. She smells familiar."

"This doesn't lead to anywhere. I'll get us out."

Ziggs took something from his backpack.

"Stop, both of you!" he shouted, holding something in his hand.

"This is a G-satchel that blows up from a tiniest shake! Let us out or I'll drop it!"

Camille freezed.

Urgot laughed and shot the charge.

"F*ck."

...

Tristana shook Teemo awake. They had put ice to his burns, and he didn't look so bad anymore.

"Teemo!"

What now?

"What now?"

"Like it or not, we're going to get Ziggs back."

Teemo's expression didn't tell much, but his voice did: "I'll come too. I have to apologize him."

Rumble smiled a little. Tristana was surprised.

"Don't worry, he'll understand", Rumble said.

Teemo put the copper plate to his chest pocket. "And she would understand, too."
