Cling in the hope... it is all you have

"Stand up. Bowing is the sign of weakness."

"And so is apologizing, Urgot. I'll just tell that he found the information. I sent Serena to give him the package."

Urgot ripped put his mask back to place. "Excellent. Make sure the other one comes here after the fight. And send Karr here."

"Are you planning to kill her?"

Urgot lit one of his knee guns. "If she can't stop me, she'll die. It is just that simple. Now go!"

Urgot's minion made haste. He knew that Karr was going to die, and he wanted to see it. That's why he had joined the Dreadnoughts. To see suffering.

...

"So you guys have been searching me?"

Ekko looked pretty much the same like in the photo Ghenn had shown, although his mohawk was a bit longer and he carried a weird container on his back. He didn't seem to have aged at all.

"Yes. But I think we should go to somewhere else. Do you have a room?" Ziggs had decided to handle the most of talking. Teemo and Tristana were the only ones who had actually killed someone, but telling people their friend is dead is something different.

"Every employee has one. Let's go there then."

Ekko looked like he had guessed something was wrong.

They arrived to the room. Ekko sat on his bed and waved the yordles to sit around the table.

"So what is the thing we have to talk about?"

Ziggs coughed and answered with another question: "Is it true that you once belonged to a gang of teenagers who used roman numbers as their symbols?"

"Yes, it is. I was XII. How did you know that?"

Ziggs drank his glass empty. He had bought a lemonade at the lobby. "One former member, XIII, was... found dead yesterday."

Ekko was shocked but didn't cry or anything. "Sad, but I kinda guessed that. She tried to assassinate Urgot after all. Was she all right... dismissing the fact that she was dead?"

"Umm, half of her face was replaced with a steel mask. But her death seemed to be due poisoning."

Ekko punched the wall. "She got to say something was poisonous, once she asked if I was a yordle", Rumble mentioned.

"Four of us are still alive, without doubt. Two have left Zaun, dunno where are they. One has disappeared completely. Others are dead." Ekko surely was upset.

"Can we do anything else?" Tristana carefully asked.

"No need. You can do nothing to Urgot, and this isn't your business. Just continue whatever you were doing."

...

"Is this the end of the mystery? We only told Ekko what was the case! Is truly it?" Tristana raged.

No Megling commando left any crime to be. But what could she do? One of the most feared zaunites against a bunch of yordles? Pathetic to even try.  And it was all her fault. If she wouldn't have taken that 'BigTrip', they would still be enjoying the vacation. But now they just sat in a brothel room without anything to do.

Would a suicide end all this? She mentally grabbed her cannon and pointed it toward her head.

"It's not the end", Teemo interrupted her thoughts. He had suddenly just appeared to the room. His eyes had a glow of someone who has just met the killer of their family.

"Guess what I was doing? I bought a connection crystal and spoke with the Megling archivist. And guess again what happened then!" he almost roared.

"Teemo what happened?"

"Shut up! I checked all files about the famous terrorist attack, and it turns out... that... that... the attacker wasn't just a summoner, but also a yordle! And he had a silver ring!"

"Teemo, no!" both Rumble and Tristana yelled, but Teemo had already punched Ziggs.
