You die when I choose
Vi held her gauntlets in defensive position. She couldn't see properly, the dust had went to her eyes. But she knew Jinx and her guest were in front of her.
"Vi! What a surprise. Are you okay?"
It was Ekko. It had to be.
"Is it... you, Ekko?"
"Yes, it's me. Let me help clean your eyes."
Ekko wiped the dust away from Vi's eyes. She sat down.
"Because Ekko is here, let's not fight now, Jinx. Let's act like old and good friends."
Jinx giggled. "We are old and good friends. If you two catched me, you'd get bored in no time. This is just playing", she said.
"Whatever. Why are you here, Ekko?"
Ekko sat down too. "I described this to Jinx already, and I know we haven't seen for a long time. I need your help."
"He's planning an attack! And Ziggs will be there too, this is gonna be awesome!" Jinx laughed.
"Who's Ziggs?"
"Her supplier", Ekko explained.
"This is getting complicated. You're planning an attack, and I should help you, Jinx, and her supplier doing it? There exists a thing called law, you know. We cops can't do everything", she said.
"Zaun has no laws. I know you miss some punching", Ekko persuaded her. "Besides, we're assaulting Urgot's base. You know what he has-"
"Im in. That bastard deserves it."
"Yeeea!" Jinx shouted in excitement.
"But Jinx..."
"Huh?"
"After this, I'll still try to catch you. And I will succeed one day", Vi stated.
"It's a joy to both of us. Now, fetch the hat lady! I want her too."
...
"You did not flee. Do you think you're a match for me?" Urgot asked with a cold tone.
"No, I didn't. I'm just tired. I have ran Quamo's company for sixty years now." the old woman said. "Strange."
"Tell me."
"You call yourself so strong, Urgot. Yet you spend so much time talking to your victims. Such nonsense. What if...?"
Urgot readied his gun.
"In the middle of our conversation, I did this?"
She pressed a button on her armrest. A secret door opened to the wall, revealing four armed bodyguards.
"Freeze! We are-"
Urgot blasted them to death with a single shot from his leg.
"Some who say they are strong, they just blindly strike their target. Of course, I plan everything. I was guessing a move like that."
The old woman gasped and reached her gun on the table. Urgot shot it to pieces.
"Back to the 'nonsense'. It works as a weapon. Turn on the microphone!"
The woman flipped the switch. Now everyone in the building heard all words speaked in the room.
Urgot launched his chains to the woman, and started to slowly pull.
"You Chem-Barons twist the natural order with your money and rules. You are the true enemy of Zaun."
The meat grinder opened.
"If you truly want to just kill someone, just do it. Without words, without tormenting them, do it fast. I am an example."
The grinder started to spin.
"They enslaved me, put me to chains. I was strong. I survived. The torment I endured made me even stronger. Like this, if you survive. If not, you are weak, if you do, you are strong."
The spinning got faster and faster.
"Not pain, not suffering. They aren't a true weapon. Only fear is. It is the gap between true strength and concealed weakness."
The woman just centimeters away from the grinder.
"This is not bloodlust or hate. This is just logic."
...
"What is that?" Rumble asked curiously.
"Don't know. But it's a robot, at least", Tristana answered.
The small robot opened and revealed even smaller letter. The words on it were welcome to everyone.
Teemo took the letter and read it loudly.
"This is Ziggs. Come to the abandoned bar in the fourth level from the bottom. It's in south. This piece of paper doesn't fit much text. The electrocution effect of shock bombs is based on the splattered water."
"Is the last phrase true, Rumble?"
"Yes. It's from Ziggs."
"No time to waste, let's go."
