Ten| We Can Do This

Cody’s POV:

Oh shit. Today is Sam’s birthday! How could I forget? Well I kind of have the right to forget because she is such a bitch to me after everything that has happened in New York, the only reason I am with Abby is because my management told me I have to other wise I would have single. Though I feel like I am starting to get feelings for Abby like I used to have when we were kids, sometimes I think about Sam and that kid Rahul but now that I know she is single makes me feel a little better. That kid Rahul only likes touching her its crazy how that makes me feel, I want to punch him sometimes but I resist myself, I overheard her phone conversation with her mom and sister she has feelings for me. Though why does she act this way towards me, maybe I might have some feeling for her but I am with Abby now. I am glad Abby was in the bathroom at the moment giving me time to think what I am doing through “You forgot her birthday Grom.” Alli said sounding disappointed with me.

“Do you see the way she acts towards me? I think I have the right to forget.”

“But she was your girlfriend, you loved her then before you guys broke up and you still love her now.“ Alli explained, my heart raced did I really still love Sam? She was the one who saw the real me and I saw the real her, we were perfect for each other. My phone rang and it was Mum and Dad,

“Hey Mum.”

“Hey Cody! Is Sam there?”

“No she just left to meet up with her sister.”

“Brad honey we missed her, she is with her sister. You remembered her birthday right Codes?” Mum asked me.

“No.” I sighed.

“Cody I understand you guys aren’t together anymore but you never forget Sam’s birthday.”

“I know Mum, I was just busy...”

“With Abby?” Mum asked me. I was ashamed, even Mum saw that I spent too much time with Abby.

“Yeah Mum, but I am starting to think I am making a mistake.”

“That’s my boy! Go get your real girl!” My dad shouted, that made me smile bright.

“Alright Mum and Dad, Alli and I have to get ready we got to go.”

“Be careful guys.” My mum said before hanging up. I had the perfect idea but I don’t know if Sam will like it I am just going to have to test it out.

Alli gave me a look like she knew what was going on, we had to get down to the studio quick.

Sam’s POV:

“Yeah I know I have been a mess.” I said sipping my soda.

“Don’t worry, today is your birthday! You don’t need to stress today.” My sister said rubbing my shoulder.

“I know, I know but he didn’t even remember my birthday! Like I don’t even know what to do anymore.” I said running my hand through my hair.

“Everything will be alright, Sam I have to tell you something.”

“Yeah go ahead.”

“I am getting married.”

“TO WHO?” I said surprised.

“To Brian, he proposed to me last night.” Kat said showing me her ring, Brian was Kat’s boyfriend since they were in high school. They had fights like Cody and I are having now but now they are getting married. I couldn’t help but have the thought about Cody and I getting married, what is wrong with me these days? All I have been thinking about is Cody and only Cody. My cellphone rang in the middle of my thoughts causing me snap back into reality, it was Alli

“Where are you Sam?”

“I am still at the restaurant.” My eyes rolled onto my watch which read 3:25.

“Oh my gosh Alli! I am so very sorry I am on my way!” I yelled getting up

“Okay hurry.” Alli said before hanging up the phone.

I turned to my sister “Sorry Kat, I have to go Alli has a photo shoot and she needs a ride.”

“It’s alright Sam, I will see you around.” My sister said pulling me in her comforting embrace. I smiled and then ran, it felt great to reconnect with my sister one more time because it reminded me of the time we were little kids without any problems, without any fights.

When I got to the studio, I heard a melodious tone coming out a room as I walked ahead the sound became closer. I walked into the room where I saw Alli on her laptop, Abby on her phone, Cody in the studio
