I walked out of the house and into the backyard. I was all smiles after what just happen between me and Cece. I pulled Jennifer to the side so we could talk. "What is it?" she asked in a whisper. "It's working." I replied. "Are you serious? How do you know?" "She started asking questions about us. I kept it cool and played the part of being over her. She went balistic. Next thing I know she through herself at me." "Did you two have sex?" "No, we kissed." She squeeled and gave me a hug. "This is great. Won't be too long until you both are back together." Cece comes out of the house staring in our direction. We immediately act normal.
I could feel her eyes on us as we talked. The party was over and I said my final goodbyes to everyone. Jen and I left toward my car. I droved her home. "Um, Bobby? Someone is following us." said Jen looking into the rearview mirror. "Your right. That's strange." I replied. The head lights shinned behind us. "Oh my God! It's Secillia." "What?!" "No don't look!" I kept my eyes on the road. I pulled up to Jen's place. I glanced to see Cece's park the car on the otherside. Both Jen and I busted out laughing.
"She's not a very good spy." mentioned Jen as she peeked behind her. "She'll get better at it. I wouldn't put it passed her." I said. "I had fun today. I believe I warmed up to your son. He is precious." "He reminds me of myself." "How so?" "He's a flirt." She busted out laughing knodding her head in agreement. "Yes, he is. Well, I better go. We both have work tomorrow." "One more question I have to ask you." I felt akward for what I'm about to ask her. "Jen, you're a wonderful person. We have so much in common and I enjoy your company. If this plan doesn't work out along with no hopes of getting my ex wife back. I was wonder if we could take this friendship we have and turn it into something more."
Jennifer turned from me freaking out. "Oh wow, you and I? Uh..." she answered nervously. "What's wrong?" She takes my hand and gave it a squeeze. "Robert, I'm flattered that you think of me as a possible companion. But, as far as relationships go I would have to decline." "I don't understand." "It's not that I don't find you attractive. You are a great guy and deserve someone who can love you for the rest of your life." I still wasn't getting it. She let out a sigh staring down. "What I'm trying to say is I'm a lesbian." My jaw dropped as I released my hand from her. "I hope you don't hate me for it. You're the first person I've told." "No, no! I don't hate you for it. I'm just suprised." "Okay, good night." "Night, I'll see you tomorrow." She placed a kiss on my cheek and got out of the car. There went my luck. A goregous girl like her a lesbian? It doesn't matter anyway she's always going to be my friend.

I sat there waiting for that Jennifer girl to get out of Robert's car. I grew fruatrated as thirty minutes past. Finally she steps out the car smiling and waving. I watched him drive away as she went straight into her apartment. Did they make out for thirty minutes? Jesus, why the hell am I doing?! I hate Robert. I banged my head lightly against the steering wheel. I'm such a big fat liar! To my suprise my pants haven't burst into flames.
Even though, Robert said they're just friends I'm not buying it! To be honest seeing him with another woman drove me insane. Definately broke my wall of hatred toward him. Julius and I just started our relationship. Before, I break it off I'm going to make sure this 'Friendship' isn't a relationship. A hot chick like that is capable of anything. I sighed to myself as I drove home. I still love Robert. I can't deny it no more.
I went inside to see my dad passed out on the couch. I rolled my eyes laughing and went upstair. I walked into my room to see Preston snuggled up with his Grandma. I shook my mom to wake her. She stood up rubbing her eyes. "Sorry, he didn't want to sleep alone." she whispered. "That's okay. I guess he can sense my loneliness." I replied. "You're not alone. You have Julius." I tensed up and turned from her scratching my head. "Yeah, but who knows how long that would last." She raised an eyebrow in suspicion. She gave me a smirk and sat down on the bed.
I tried to ignore her yet, that was hard. "You miss Bobby don't you?" she asked snickering. I rolled my eyes at her. "No." I replied. "I like his friend, Jennifer. She smart, funny, and very good on the eye. I think those two are perfect for one another." "What are you blind?! That venomous seductive snake is not his type." I face palmed myself. I walked right into my mom's trap. She always knew how to get a confession out of me. "I know you still love him. Your jealousy gets the best of you." "Whatever." "I'm going to bed. Your dad and I have a long trip back early in the morning. Night." My mom gave me a good night kiss on the cheek and left my room.
I reached into my drawer pulling out the old picture of me and Robert. I smiled down at it grazing my finger down the wrinkles of the picture. I kissed the photo holding it against my heart. I wiped my eyes of the tears and placed the picture against the lamp. I got under the covers and turned the light off. I laid there replaying the kiss Robert and I shared. His lips still burned against mine. The taste of his tongue was ever so sweet. I missed the warmth of his body, his touch, and that silky deep voice of his. Who am I kidding? I want him back!
