About three days later Preston was cleared of his pnemonia. He was able to go home. It was my week with him anyway. Robert left to work earlier. I took Preston out for nice day on the town. While I was pushing him on the swing. In the distance I see Julius walking over. I smiled at him as he waved at me. "How's it going?" he asked. "I'm great. My son was finally released from the hospital. No more pnemonia." I replied cheerfully. "Wow, that's great news." "Hi!" said Preston waving at Julius." "Hey buddy! You glad to be out of that hospital?" "Yes." We shared a laugh together. He is too adorable.

Julius stood in front of him kneeling down. "You hungry?" he asked smiling. Preston knodded is head yes and giggled. "I know this great place in town that has yummy food. Want to go?" "Yes." he replied. Julius took him out of the swing and I followed behind him. He drove us to the resturant and we went inside. We ordered our food and talked. Preston chowed down on his french fries. He pointed at the arcade. "You want to play a few games pal?" asked Julius. Preston reached his arms out to him. He picked up out of the high chair and went into the arcade.

I sat there admiring them as they played the racing game. My son would laugh as he help steer. Julius had a way with kids. They came back from the arcade and Preston had a stuffed rabbit in hand. "You know it's a bad idea spoiling him." I joked. "I know. Preston deserves it. I'm making a friend." he replied. I giggled at him. After dinner Julius drove us back to the park. I left my car there. I placed Preston in his car seat. I stood there akwardly as we exchanged glances. "Thanks for dinner. We had a great time." I said breaking the silence. "No problem. I really like you Secillia. I enjoy spending time with you. I hope that we can redo this day over again." he answered taking my hand into his.

I smiled up at him and blushed. "It can. Next week is Preston's first birthday party. Its three months late for personal reasons." "Count on me to be there. Now, I hear your ex husband gets him on the weekends. Saturday I would like to take out for a special dinner." "I would love to." "Excellent, I'll see you then." He leaned over giving me a kiss on the cheek. I smiled at him as he waved at Preston. "See ya later, buddy." I watched him walk over to his car. I do like him a lot. He's good with my son and caring. I can definately see myself with him in the nearer future.

~Robert~

I couldn't consentrate all day at work. I can't believe she's moved on already. I despise this entire situation of being divorced. This hatred of hers is destroying her judgement. I don't what else to do. I can't bring myself to be with anybody. These months away from her is taking its toll. I could barely stomach the divorce process. When it was finally over I felt like I just died. She showed no emotion.
I'm starting to realize I lost her. What once was a strong and everlasting romance. Turns into regret and despair. I wish I could turn back the clock just to start over. We all know that's impossible. My co-worker Jennifer steps into my office. "Hi." she greeted placing a file on my desk.

I gave her a weak smile scratched my forehead. "Someone's feeling the blues. Are you okay?" I chuckled half heartedly at her leaning back in my chair. "I'm cool. No issues here at all." I lied. She rolled those beautiful blue eyes at me while running her finger through her raven hair. Man, is she pretty. Her bubbly yet shy personality was equal beautiful. We stroke up a close friendship and she always lend an ear when I'm upset.
"You suck at lying."she joked. "I know." I sighed. "Let me guess. It's about your ex-wife." "Yeah. I found out she's with another guy." "Robert, you can't keep stressing over her. She's going through a phase right now. One day she's going to realize that the man she thinks she wants won't be enough to keep her happy. Trust me, if you give it time that hard shell is going to break." I smiled at her for a moment. "Where do you get this stuff? It's like you know what to say in how to make me feel better." "I've seen it happen before. I just know." "I appreciate it. I'm guessing patience is what I need to have." "Yep. She loves you its obvious." "Sometimes it doesn't feel like she does." "Trust me, she does. I can prove it to you."

I gave her a smug look in disbelief. "How?" I asked confused. "Make her jealous. Not on purpose though. Give her the idea that you've moved on." she replied. "How do we do that?" "Use me. You and I can pretend to be going out. Which we both know that's not true." "I don't know. Won't that make me a bad person." "You're right that would. Um, I got it! We make her suspect we are going out but, in actuality not true." "Isn't that the same thing?" "No, we use our friendship as a tool to make her create ideas. She's get more curious about us and further more come around often."

I can't believe I'm even considering this. Just thinking about it makes me feel it would work. Cece is the jealous type and not very good at hiding it. Especially, the way she acted when Monica popped up. Beautiful mature woman drives her into feeling insecure. This could work. Jennifer is equally goregous and we get along fine. "My son's first birthday party is next week. This day could be a start to this idea." I mentioned. She smiled at me giving a thumbs up. "Awesome! Trust me Robert she'll be back with you. I will make sure of it." she exclaimed.

I laughed at her as she walked towards the door. "Thanks, Jen I appreciate the help." "You're my friend, man. I want to see that smile back on your face. Now, if you'll excuse me I have work to do."  I chuckled as she left the room. She is something else. If this plan doesn't work out I really don't what else I can do. Jennifer says to have patience. Sometimes it doesn't always go as planned. Maybe, I can make something happen between me and Jen. She's a great woman and definately my type. I pray this plan pulls through.

***Will this plan break Cece's subborness? Or is it truly over? How will the party go? Vote and comment please. New update soon.***
