Chapter 3: Schools Back

Marinette was scared to go back to school, she didn't want to be completely made fun of because she was changing, but unfortunately, she knew it was coming.

Mari POV:

Ever since the end of Grade 10, when SoulSwitcher attacked, Chloe had basically taken Sabrina's spot, and now Sabrina's the bitch of the school. We all saw it coming. As soon as their personalities were switched, Sabrina's got a taste of what it was like to be the arrogant one and she enjoyed it. Chloe on the other hand felt what it was like to be her and all the stuff she has to go through, and believe it or not, she was sympathetic. So being the "Sabrina" of their relationship was her way of saying sorry. Weird? Tell me about it.

Anyway,
Ever since the photo blew up on Alya's page, I was looked at like, I don't know how to say this without it being weird, but I'm seen as that girl that all the guys want to bang. And it's scary to me.

I inhaled sharply and stepped in the school gates. Alya has pre-warned me about her presence as she was sick, so it was just me and Nino today, and Adrien, but he's fallen in love with Chloe ever since she became nice. Doesn't mean I'm gonna stop trying though.

"Marinette! You look bangin!" Nino yelled and gave me a hi-five. "Thanks Nino" I smiled and returned a compliment. "So, ever since that photo you got all the guys turning heads.. don't worry, I'll beat them if anyone tries to touch my girlfriends bestie!" He playfully punched me in the shoulder, but suddenly his attention drifted away from me, and towards somewhere else. I didn't look, it'd be rude wouldn't it. He scoffed and rolled his eyes, "man, out of all the chicks he chose Chloe, she still acts like that Barbie, Bimbo Bitch when Sabrina isn't there. And he thinks shes a 'good person now' and 'she's changed' pffft BS" he gestured quotation marks in the air.

Adrien didn't talk to me much anymore, he's paying attention to Chloe 24/7. Chat Noir too, he says he "met someone who cares for him" and all that jazz, like he's having a go at me. It makes me sad. Both of my favourite boys, don't even talk to me anymore.

"Mariiiii" Nino waved his hands in my face,  "I'm talking to you, ya know it isn't so polite to ignore your BESTFRIENDS BOYFRIEND", I looked at him and giggled, "but seriously though, you're not the only one that feels like Adrien doesn't pay attention to you much anymore"

"But I never said tha-" I was cut off by his hand raised in front of my face "Trust me, I know you were thinking it, he doesn't even bother texting me when he's free. It's like Chloe's manipulated him." He said, looking at his feet, sadly.

"Hey guys", a bright and happy voice beamed from behind me, I turned slowly, was it Nath? Luka?

Oh. It's him.

How come I still see him as an angel after he rejected me. Not fair.

"Hey Adrien" Nino have a short and quick smile that was obviously fake and said "look I needa talk to Mari, privately, it's kinda important".

Adrien furrowed his eyebrows, a bit confused and just give him a nod and walked off.

Odd. Very odd.

Adrien POV:
Why would they need to talk without me, we're like best friends.. all of us. It's like they don't want to be friends with me anymore. What did I do wrong this time. Stupid Agreste.

Nino POV:
THATS IT! All I have to do is explain the plan to Mari, get Alya on board and we should be all good. Don't worry Adrien, we're gonna save you from that demon, Chloe.
