Mary Margaret's POV

My eyes scanned the diner for Henry but the familiar brown haired boy wasn't around. Panic began to fill me as I walked up to Ruby and asked, "Have you seen Henry?"

Ruby smiled causally, "Oh yeah, he's over the-" She pointed to the spot Henry usually sat in but it wasn't occupied, "Or, at least he used to be there..."

"Oh no..." I muttered as Ruby told Granny that she's taking a break.

"Come on," Ruby grabbed a coat, pulled it on, and dragged Neal and I out the door, "Where do you think he'd be?"

"I don't know," I breathed, "Maybe at home? He seemed really tired this morning so I guess he wanted to get some rest. Or... or he could've..." I froze.

"What?" Ruby looked at me, confused.

"Or he could be at Regina's..." I muttered.

"Oh," Ruby's face lit up as she smiled, "Then he's OK! No worries right?" Once she realized I wasn't replying she furrowed her eyebrows and asked again, "Right, Snow?"

"Regina's missing," I blurted out and Ruby's face paled, "This... This woman took her. If he went to look for her... then that means..."

"That he'll disappear, too?" Ruby finished for me. I nodded and she crossed her arms, "Then, we get to him before she can." Ruby stopped for a moment, "Wait, who's this woman?"

I looked up at her in fear, "No I idea."

Ruby narrowed her eyes and looked determined as she said, "Then we'll find her and... and force her into telling us what her name is!"

I laughed and followed her to Regina's house. Once we got there, the door was already opened, which made me feel even more nervous. Even Ruby gulped before stepping in.

We both gasped at the sight in front of us. Plastered on the walls was ice. Lines of ice decorated the walls, leading us upstairs to a room. On the ground, you could see footsteps made out of snow, as if everything the woman touched turned cold.

"Ruby," I stopped her before she took a step towards the upstair's bedrooms.

"What?"

"Here," I handed her Neal and she carefully adjusted him in her arms, "Stay here with him as I check upstairs, OK?"

"Are you crazy?" She looked at me as if I grew a second head, "I'm not letting you risk your life-"

"I'm making sure it's safe for my son," I interrupted, "I don't want him getting hurt, do I? So, I should check to make sure it's safe."

She gave me a look, but before she could protest, I pushed past her and bolted up the steps. I followed the ice trail into what seemed like Regina's room until it abruptly stopped. As if she disappeared in thin air. I looked around the room, looking for any signs before walking out and telling Ruby that it was safe. But as soon as I turned back around, a woman faces me, raising an eyebrow.

My first instinct was to scream and stumble back. She looked at me,amused, as I hastily drew my bow and arrow and aimed at her heart. "Where is my daughter and grandson?" I asked, glaring at her amused smirk.

She shrugged, "Don't have them."

I scoffed, "Oh, of course you do. You kidnapped both of them. You have both of them."

She raised both of her eyebrows, "But have you ever stopped to think that maybe I'm not the real villain? That maybe I'm working for someone bigger, someone more better than I could ever be?"
