By the end of the week I'd decided it was time to test his obedience. My plan had been progressing more quickly than I had expected, and I wasn't angry anymore, I was actually having fun thinking about all the things I could use him for and the idea of having someone else assist me, making the mission less lonely and much safer, just in case.

I had starting spending regular time with Suga again, his presence once again bringing me security rather than complete anguish. We didn't talk much which was okay given that I didn't want him asking questions about those photos anymore and I had a book that I was engrossed in reading.

Of course though, the second I began to enjoy myself he had to remind me that the situation was still flawed.

"Kookie. Who is she?" He asked breaking my focus and causing me to groan internally; why wouldn't he just give up?

"Who is who?" I replied, hoping he would drop the subject.

"That woman." he still wasn't giving up, I wasn't sure if I wanted to yell at him or give him points for persistence.

"What woman?"

"The one in all those photographs."

"She's nobody." Come on kid, take a hint. I stood from the bed closing my book. I didn't even notice that I had started pacing, but I was sick of his questions.

"If that were true you wouldn't have so many pictures of her."

"She's just another person that left me." I finally caved, giving the most vague explanation I could. It was true, despite how I felt for her it was ultimately her fault that I was alone.

"I'm.. Sorry." He said under his breath. I wasn't convinced, if he truly didn't want to anger me he would have stopped prying. I left the room without a word, slamming the door shut but not locking it, it was time to discover if he would obey unsaid rules or not.

For the following two hours I cleaned the house, waiting to see if Suga would emerge from his room or not. He didn't, not even once. I finished mopping the kitchen floor before deciding it had been long enough to test him and going back into his room.

"Why are you still in here? I left the door unlocked." I asked seeing him in the same position on the bed that he'd been in when I'd left the room.

"I didn't know if I was allowed to go anywhere. I didn't want you to get mad again." he replied slightly timidly.

"Where's the fun in that?" I responded. He gave me a look as if he already knew what was going on before quietly laughing to himself.

His face flashed with a pained look momentarily and I would have loved to read his mind when it happened. I wanted to know what I had done to cause that so I could spin it to my advantage.

I laughed before once again turning to leave the room, shutting the door behind me and leaving Suga to his own devices once again.
