d.m.
i wake up, my head pounding. groaning, i opened my eyes. light is streaming in from in-between the blinds and the distant sound of traffic could be heard from below.
too... bright...
i felt very warm and was too comfortable to get up and close the blinds. something heavy was on me under the covers. it was so warm and vaguely familiar. even though my head wouldn't stop hurting, i didn't mind my situation. i started to drift back asleep.
wait a second, the thing just moved. the sun is getting even brighter and my head is pounding even harder. what's going on? i forced my eyes to open again.
groggily, my mind started to process what was going on. i was in a bed in a room- not at the manor- oh yeah. the apartment. not my room, though. my pillow cases are silk. something heavy on me. a pillow? no, pillows don't move. it was an arm. this was starting to look bad. what did i do last night? foggily, i strained my memory.
drinks. potter called me hot. drinks. skin touching mine. my fingers grabbing hair and digging into someone's back. green.
oh no.
oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no.
i quickly slip out of potter's grasp and find myself naked. i frantically find and put on my clothes.
it was going so good. my mind can't even comprehend everything. oh no.
my heart hammers in my chest. what's potter gonna say? what was i thinking? I can't believe this.
oh no oh no oh no
i have no where else to go, i run my fingers through my hair frantically.
footsteps.
it's too late, i have to face my mistakes.
footsteps.
i turned around and he was at the doorway, only halfway dressed. i felt blood creeping up my face as my head continued to pound.
"hey, don't... don't leave," he said.
i looked around, trying to find something to look at other than him. "i wasn't leaving, i was just going- i mean- getting water- yeah, that." i said quickly.
the lips of potter's mouth curled a little bit as if this was funny. he quickly hid his smile.
"hey, we can talk this out. just sit down and stop looking like a deer in headlights."
i tried to scoff and regain my posture. "no i don't," i said, but i sat down at the kitchen counter where our empty glasses and bottles still lay.
awkward silence.
"look-" we both say in unison.
"oh, sorry," we say in unison again.
"you go first," i say.
he took a deep breath. "okay... i didn't mean for that to happen. it's not good to just ignore it and pretend it didn't happen so..."
i bit my lip. again, i wasn't sure what to say.
"was i good?" harry asked.
i laughed, surprising myself. "hell if i remember," he smiled. "i remember you said i was hot,"
"that's embarrassing, but i stand by my word," he said.
"obviously," i said, smirking.
"so what does this mean?"
"..."
"..."
"how about we both go and clear our heads?" i suggested, not prepared to answer yet.
"okay," potter said quietly. "okay,"
