Chapter 3: Leave Me Alone....

Saiki's POV:
While strolling through the halls, I've been teleporting in school all day to find Kōri but nothing seems to pop up.

I then took a sigh and adjust my glasses.

This is a pain, I better use clairvoyance.

I thought as I cross my eyes to find Kōri until I widen my eyes when I saw her getting harassed by a group of thugs near the main entrance.

Crap, this isn't good. I gotta get her out there right away!

I thought as I teleport outside of the school entrance where the thugs are harassing Kōri.

Kōri's POV:
Ugh out of all people, why these dickheads?

I coldly thought while getting annoyed with these douchebag punks who are perving on me.

"Hey baby girl, wanna take a ride with me?"

"Yeah baby, we can take you back to our place tonight."

"Mhm and we're going to be up all night long.~"

The three thugs flirtatiously cooed and I was  standing there ready to explode like a volcano about to erupt in a split second.

For god's sake, first I encountered a fake bitch. Now I have to deal with these three f**kheads? Just how bad can this day can be?

I thought irritably where I was about to punch them in the gut until....

"Waaah!!! What the hell is going on?!?"

Wait what?

I thought confusingly as I open my eyes and became perplexed when the three thugs were floating in midair while they're panicking.

"Gaaaahh!!! Get us down from here!!!"

"Yo! Who's ever doing this, stop it!"

One of the thugs shouted as they are blasted away through the sky like a damn rocket. I became so baffled that I can't even say anything about it.

Oookaaaay...the hell just happened?...

A telekinesis ability, that's what happened.

Oh ri- WAIT A MINUTE who's-

As I spun my head from behind, I couldn't believe what I seen when the pink haired with antennas is standing right in front of me.

Y-You can my mind?

I asked curiously while confused.

Unfortunately I can. I have psychic powers since I was born. It's a huge pain when you think about it.

He explained with a deadpan look which got me even more dumbfounded.

Wait a minute you've been hearing my thoughts this whole time?!

I asked mentally in disbelief.

Pretty much.

He bluntly replied as I stood silently for a minute before I cover my face with my hands and groan.

Well this is just great, first I want to get out of this hellish school. Now there's a psychic right in front of me?! Just how bad does school get?!?

I mentally groaned.

Calm down, I get that it's a pain coming to this school, but it's not that bad.

Saiki bluntly but earnestly assured, however I rebuffed his statement and lightly shook my head.

Whatever, it doesn't matter anyway. Look I don't know what's your deal with me, but can you please leave me alone? I'm not in the mood.

I coldly told him mentally.

Why are you so hostile? I didn't do anything to you.

Saiki asked curiously in my mind, but I was getting more irritated with this guy when I let out sigh.

Listen I get what you're trying to do, but I don't need this right now so can you back off?

I rudely retort as I turn my head away and just before walk away from him, I heard asking me this.

Do you really believe that keeping your distance from others is going to make you feel better?

He asked curiously which I paused when he said that. I stood there quietly as furrowed my brow and grip my fists.

Leave me alone.

I told him mentally as I continue to walk out of the school with a bitter expression where I made up my mind about not going to school tomorrow. It may not be a good choice, but this is the best thing for me to do. I won't get hurt ever again and I'll never will.

Saiki's POV:
As I watched her left PK Academy, I read her mind when she is planning to drop out of school tomorrow. But don't worry, I have other plans for tomorrow too and I'm not going to let her ditch school all because of some memory that she has.

I know helping others make me out of character, but when it comes to Kōri, I can't help but worry about her since I'm afraid she's going to do something to herself by tomorrow. If I have to protect Kōri, then...

.....

I have no choice but to be friends with her, that way she'll able to come back to school.
