Virgil quietly pulled on his pants, but left his shirt off, then tiptoed out into the hallway.

"You need something," the lady at the front desk glared at him.

"Um, Sam's clothes are soaked from the rain and she needs some dry ones. Could you-"

Maggie cut him off by pointing at a small pile of clothes. She had already called Sam's family for some dry clothes.

Virgil whispered thanks and return to the room.

"I'm sorry!" Sam said, red returning to her cheeks. She had the blanket wrapped around her tightly.

"Its okay. You weren't thinking straight. Maggie got you some dry clothes." Virgil held out the pants and tank top.

Sam pulled them on thankfully and began getting ready to tattoo Virgil.

"What's that on your arm?" he asked, laying face down on the padded bench.

She glanced at her arm and bit her lips. The Hamato clan cress lay on her arm, a reminder that she would never be a true ninja like her parents.

"Its part my tattoo. I got it for my family. Its kind of big, but its also unfinished," she said, sitting down on the swivel stool.

"Can I see the rest of it?"

"If you buy me a round of drinks and dinner, maybe." Sam focused on the design carefully adding the new to the old.

"Then where's your favorite place to eat?" Virgil winced slightly.

"There's a bar down the street, but I don't have a coat."

"You do, its out on the coat rack."

"Well, then its a date," Sam said, cleaning the area and sitting back.

Virgil used a mirror to look at it. The trident was perfect, just the way he had designed it.

"Shall we?" he asked pulling on his shirt once Sam had wrapped his shoulder in gaze and plastic wrap.

"You want to go tonight?"

"Yeah. I can stay the night at a hotel and I need a drink after the ink you add on. I'm kind of sore."
