Sam laid on her stomach, doodling out a new cake design. She love decorating cakes as well as baking almost everything.

A pounding on her door made Sam jump. From the sound, it was probably one of her brothers coming to bug her.

She opened the door and her youngest brother, Jacob, tackled her. Sam end up hitting both her hands as she fell.

"Ow," she called out.

"Come play with us," Jacob shouted, jumping up and down on her right hand.

"Get out, get out , GET OUT!" Sam shouted clutching her hand to her chest.

The five year old's lip began to quiver as tears started rolling down his cheeks. Sam instantly felt bad about yelling at him. He hadn't know what he was doing.

"Mommy!" Jacob wailed as he sat down on Sam's carpeted floor and started to sobbing.

"Samantha Miwa Willow Brahstone, how dare you yell at your baby brother!" Her mother yelled, running into the room and picking Jacob. The little boy hid his face in their mother's brown and purple hair.

"He stepped on my hand!" Sam shout, anger building in her chest.

"That doesn't give you the right to make him cry!"

"Oh, I forgot. He's your perfect little angel while I'm the embarrassment you can't forget about!"

"Sam, I never said that-"

"You've thought it ever since you found out that my hands would never let me be a kunoichi!"

"Sweetheart, don't say that," Sam's mom said, reaching out to touch Sam's shoulder.

"I hate you!" Sam shouted.

As the words left her mouth, she regretted them. The look on her mother's face flashed sadness then pure anger.

Before her mom could say anything, Sam grabbed her go bag and raced outside. She had to get away from it all.

The disappointed looks, the fake smiles, and all the noise.

Enough was enough. It was time for her to leave.

Time for her to run.
