Death

When you are speaking about party, no one will can do best than Nova. She manage to gathering everyone in flash of eyes at our hotel. Its like she can read my mind. Even if I am not a party person, I think this is not a crime since I never be in a party like many centuries ago.

"They are coming." I heard Percy and his gaze is focus at the main entrance of the hall.

"How the hell they know about this event? I don't remember I had told them anything." I growl when the next pair of guests walk inside the hall.

Its my friends from the other side of world with their dates. And the Fate is walking in too. Percy glance to me.

"What we going to do?" he asked me.

"I don't know. Lets hope they will leave Autumn alone or they will receive their present right now."

"We can't risk the mortal, sir." I sighed. What a problem to face off.

I can't do anything when they are heading towards me now.

"Death." I shake his hand.

"Its Harry you will address me when we meet up here, my friend." I nodded and can't hide my amusement with his very human attitude.

"Hello uncle." Percy hugged his uncle and they both exchange this faces.

"Long time no see you, son. Where is your dad? He is not receiving the invitation?"

"What invitation?" I asked.

"My.. my dear friend. The Fate is announced your current update up here. That is how we got here. I even bring you a present." So its the Fate that spreading the news everywhere. No wonder why this outside people can reach earth today.

"Its not funny, Hades."

"Harry if you please."

"Okay. Whatever, Harry."

"Don't be mad, you can't hide your bride forever from us. Speaking of the bride of yours, where is she?"

"She is on their way. Please have a seat and try to eat the food."

"Of course, the food look so exciting. Your hotel growing good I see."

"Yeah, save your words old man."

"I am not that old, Death. And oh yeah.. this is Kate, my date for today."

I smiled to the girl not bother to hug or shake her hand. She is with Harry anyway. Harry put his hand on Kate waist and walk away form us. What a relief.

"Okay, this time they are here. Lady Autumn and Lady Nova."

"Lets go get them. I trust you to watch over Nova, Percy. This all old pervert man will drag her to their place if I lose my sight on her."

"I will do my best to protect her, Sir."

"Well then."

Autumn

The driver open the doors for me and Nova. Before we could think where to find Death, they are already waiting for us at the entrance.

Death bring me to his arm and telling Nova to stick close to Percy.

"What make you so worried? We can leave if you don't like the party." I sounded.

"I am fine with the party but not with the guests."

"What do you mean by with the guests?" Nova asked. Death stop walking and looking at me then Nova.

"There are some outsider come to the party, my lady. Sir didn't want to risk your safety by surrounded with all of them."

"Outsider? Where did they come from?" Nova asking. Her annoying tone tell everything that she really doesn't like when her event is about to ruin.

"Olympus." Death answer make me shiver. Well I heard about Olympus but I think that place was only a myth.

"Are you kidding me?"

"No. That is why I really want to get out from here, but still, I need to introduce you to everyone. Just in case if some of they catch their interest on you and Nova."

"You are scaring us, Death." Nova hold on tight on Percy arm.

"Don't worry, I will protect you." He said.

"You can protect me from them? What are you then?"

"He is son of Poseidon." Nova pull her hands in a blink of eyes. Her face become blank and if she doesn't wear a make up, I can say she is turning blue right now.

"Are.. are you serious?" She asked and pointing to Percy chest. Percy look up to Death, asking for permission I think. Me too hardened my grip on Death torso. Well don't blame me, Poseidon son is walking around us, and that is not a pleasant situation to live.

"Nova, calm down. Percy is working with me since you are at very young age. I always assign him to watch over you without you knowing when I need to absent for a long period of time from the house. He know you and I trust him."

"But.. but.. I barely know him."

"Well this is the time you have to get know him better. He is your personal bodyguard from now on."

"Sir?"

"What?" Nova and Percy said almost in unison.

"Okay. Okay. Everyone, calm down. Death, let me please?" He nodded. I took Nova hand and squeeze them softly. Percy sighed on his place. Poor guy.

"Nova, you need Percy to watch you. I know you are though but sometimes you need someone else to help you in unexpected situation. Percy is the most suitable person, since he is working with Death and he always babysitting you back then. Do you get it?" Nova don't answer me. She took a quick glance on Percy and nodded.

"I want to hear you voice, Nova." Death growled.

"Okay. I will take him as my bodyguard."

"Don't be too hard to yourself, Nova. Percy is a nice guy and he is single. So no need to be afraid of anything or anyone."

"And now what are you talking about?" Nova can't hide her blushing face.

"I just want to make you smile, my dear. Don't do that or your face will get wrinkled like the granny skin."

"No." she whining like the baby girl and I laugh.

"Okay then. Smile often you young lady. Now, make up your situation with Percy. This is my engagement day and you didn't have any idea how worse I will become if my mood is totally swiped off."

"Okay. Okay. I am sorry. I just get shocked when you, smart ass, introduce him as the god of seas son. What a bright idea."

Death frown like he doesn't know that was his fault.

"I am sorry, I wish I were a human just like you." Percy finally found his bravery to spoke.

"Oh don't be silly, you god. I am fine now. Thank you to this talented Autumn Hope. You are really something else, Autumn." She hugged me again and again.

"Okay, stop that. We need to meet with everyone and leave this place immediately."

He bring me to his arm and we walk in to the big hall.
