Fancy suits and the odd smell of nail polish. In at Raphael's home both Simon and himself stood in his bedroom, Raphael lightly humming to himself as he looked through his closet, pushing aside suit after suit of black and dark grays, small hints of gold visible near each breast pocket and button, glorifying the brilliance of his Victorian style collection and 21st century suits that he happily collected for social events.

They were mostly getting dressed for the wedding, even if Raphael wasn't going. Why? He wasn't really fond of Lydia, and to watch some Lightwood reunite with a girl he's had distaste with since she came wasn't his cup of tea, especially when Magnus wasn't going to be there. Instead he was just here to dress up Simon who asked for his assistance, the male coming to his own home to borrow a suit and hair products from Raphael's collection and get all dressed up for Clary and his supposed, 'Friends' going to the event for Alec.

Not like Raphael cared much about it, so he wasn't gonna call Simon out on how the people there hardly adorned his presence. Apart from Isabelle, Clary, and a few others of course. He wasn't even sure if the groom could tolerate Simon...

"You'd look horrible in velvet," Raphael mumbled under his breath, talking bad about Simon to himself even though Simon was directly behind him, the other male slightly frowning at the comment. But, Simon didn't speak up about it, of course far too intimidated with his sire to actually say anything. Besides, it was awkward enough they were in the same room together, especially when they were just friends. Or well... 'Friends'. He was about 97% sure Raphael despised him, the other 3% representing strong distaste.

"You'd also look bad in leather, too. Suits aren't even your style... You're more of the gay-flannel, skinny jeans type. Maybe even converse.. God you'd actually look good in converse. Not dress shoes.. You'd look so trashy in dress shoes." Raphael was absolutely trashing Simon freely, his sharp tongue working wonders as he picked out a deep grey and black suit, admiring it through the plastic casing and tilting his head to get in the details, slightly frowning on how light it was. This was one of his favorite suits, but on Simon? Pfft.. It would look horrible. Without hesitation he immediately put it back on the rack, even disappointed in himself as he thought such a godly and overall sexy suit would ever fit that baby face sitting over on Raphael's bed twiddling his thumbs like a dingus.

"G-gay flannel?" Simon echoed, his voice filled with disbelief as he stared blankly at Raphael's head, his eyes locked on his ebony locks as he had his back turned to Simon. "A-are you serious? T-that isn't even close to my style! S-skinny jeans?? That's-.. N-no, no. Just no." He shut it down. He waved off the whole idea, completely disagreeing with Raphael's taste as he watched him peacefully flit through each clothing choice, lightly even scoffing just to be a little over dramatic.

"Don't even lie, Daylighter. You're body type is just made for gay fashion," Raphael continued, biting his lower lip as he subtly grinned to himself, his voice monotone but face fully animated. He loved teasing Simon like this, himself assuming the male was dead on straight, resulting in the constant ribbing of rainbows and comments.

"Y-yeah right! Sure, okay, flannel would look nice, but I would never wear converse! That's just ridiculous," Simon rasped, arguing subtly with Raphael about fashion choices, feeling some color rush to his face in embarrassment, of course getting a little blush from it. But, when he noticed Raphael turn around with a pitch black suit in hand wrapped in the plastic he blushed even harder, noticing that look he had on and that cocked eyebrow. It... Was kind of cute, in a way.

"Would you ever wear a Nasa shirt?" Raphael asked, his tone going dead once more as he glanced at Simon's features. He could tell he had something up his sleeve, and he shifted nervously on the bed, even looking around the room as if something here would give him a good response on what to say to resist the constant teasing and belittling of Raphael and turn the tables to embarrass the other instead.
