She had been to every class,  read almost every book,  and she had felt confident in her ability to bring her babies home.

Felt being the key word.

This confidence was shattered at 4:30 after she finished her lunch.  The pain was nothing but some gas cramping at first.  And in hindsight she probably should have guessed seeing as it was only a few days before her actual due date.  But her brother could contest to her own stupidity in critical times.

She finally called sakura after a warm liquid hit her bare feet.

Sasuke felt a strange feeling in his heart as his stomach dropped for no apparent reason for the third time in the past hour alone.

Reaching for the Blue ribbon her began twisting it in a nervous manor before his mother walked into the living room " I see you still keep a reminder " her quiet voice was laced with love and a strange understanding.

" don't make my mistakes,  you could still be happy...  This was never the life I wanted for you" her gentle voice called

"I know" was his only reply

Blonde curls stuck to her face as she let out another scream of pain and fatigue.

" I can't do this, I'm not ready!" she sobbed,  her face streaked with tears and sweat.

A hand grasped hers just as desperately as she grasped the other,  she looked into vibrant green eyes filled with love and confidence.

"you can do this naru,  I know it and you know it, your ready to be a mother.  you have so much love to give so give it to them and push.  these baby's may have their father's big head but they also have your combined stuborness, your not the type to lose to your children, so push, just push "

The blonde let out a desperate wail.

"The first one is almost here kid,  the other will be right behind it,  big push come on" tsunade instructed.

The blonde screamed and was relieved to hear a second shriller scream that followed, the relief increased with the two load screams that followed.

The relief was turned unto joy as she held her precious children for the first time,  a joyous laugh mixed with a sob emerged from her throat. "their perfect" her eyes met her brother and bestfriends who also had tears in their eyes.

"have you decided on names?" tsunade asked happily,  her heart swelling at the sight of the same baby she delivered many years ago with her own children.

" My baby boy will be the light of my future,  my hikaru" she gently stroked the baby boys head before handing him to her brother and held the little girl with slight blonde wisps already on her little head

" Sara,  for the clear love I hold for her and that I will always hold" she held the baby's hand before handing her to  sakura and held her other little girl, who had the uchiha black hair.

"chika for the flowers"  she smiled gently. 

"life is really good isn't it?" The blonde asked once again smiling,  causing the pink hair girl to shoot her a toothy grin

"it really is"
