A day with Jennie Kim | Jennie x Reader

Chapter 4: Normal person

Y/N's POV
„So what is it like? You know... being an idol?" I asked Jennie as we were walking to the bowling bar.

„To be honest.... it's really exhausting. You're never alone. Don't get me wrong, I love our fans but some of them are just too much. I hate it when they see us just as idols and not as real humans." She said and gave me a weak smile.

„Sounds hard... I will try my best to make this day to the best day of your life." I said and gave her a big smile.

To be honest... I was exactly that type of person she described. I saw them as idols and not as real persons. God... I hate myself for that, she really looks exhausted and annoyed by all the attention.

We arrived at the bowling bar, I opened the door for her and made a big gesture.

„Pretty girls first."

„Oh my god that was so cheesy." She said while laughing and going through the door.

We got in and it was pretty empty inside. Just a few people were there so we won't get disturbed. We sat down on the couch that was next the bowling lane. She put down the mask she had on because there were just a few people.

„So who's going to start?"

We looked at each other and had the same idea.

„ROCK, PAPER, SCISSOR." We screamed and she won.

I sighed and she just laughed. She playfully punched my arm and started mocking me. She started to bowl and totally missed the pins two times making me laugh. I fell onto the ground still laughing while she just watched me while pouting.

„STOOOOP!" She screamed with her cute voice and stomped onto the ground cutely making me smile.

„So you mocked me but you literally missed every pin." I said and had to laugh again.

„You're so mean!" She made her fake angry face „You will probably miss all the pins too!"

I stood up and picked up a bowling ball. I started to run and released the ball and knocked over all of the pins. I smirked and looked into Jennie's direction.

„Hmpf, that was just luck." She said and I couldn't resist her cuteness.

I went over to her and pinched her cheek making her pout even more.

Jennie's POV
I felt so happy when he pinched my cheek. I would have brushed away the hand of any other guy but I don't know why I liked it when he did it.

„So, not gonna continue? Did you already accept your loss?" He said teasing me.

I just stood up and got into position. I'm going to win... no matter what!

~ 1 hour later ~

„Jennie?"

„Hmmm?"

„You literally just knocked over 4 pins in the whole game." He said and started laughing.

I just sighed.

Y/N's POV
I kept laughing and Jennie hugged me making me choke on air. Oh my god she literally hugged me.... The real Jennie Kim. I had to smile widely and chuckled. After some time she stopped hugging me and I felt like a part of my body got ripped off of me.

„What did I do to deserve a hug?"

„I just felt like I want to hug you." She said smiling and made me smile too.

„Can I take a picture to capture this moment?" I asked her and she started posing.

I took out my phone and took a picture that made me so happy. She's just so pretty.

I looked onto the picture and just stared at it.

„Wow." I said not realizing what I just said.

„That pretty?" She asked and giggled.

I just nodded and kept looking at my phone. She grabbed it out of my hand and I tried to get it back but she just wouldn't give it back.

„Stop looking at a picture, I'm right here!" She said with her aegyo voice.

I got my phone back and had to smile. Right... she's there personally. Why would I look at a picture. Suddenly Jennie's phone rang.... it was YG.

„Oh my god, I'm so going to be dead... he probably found out that I ran away with you to be alone." I said and grabbed onto my head.

„No worries, I will explain everything to him. Let's just enjoy this day." She said turning off her phone.

I just grabbed her hand out of happiness and we got outside of the bowling bar.

„So what do you want to do next?" I asked her and she started thinking.

„KARAOKE!" She screamed and I started to get worried.

„Oh my god, I can't sing at all... you're probably going to start laughing."

She just smiled, grabbed my arm and ran to the nearest karaoke bar. We got inside and got our own room to sing karaoke. There was soju on the table and a lot of wigs and small instruments to play around with. We both sat down on the couch and I poured in some soju shots.

„Oh, I'm not allowed to drink." Jennie said but I just shook my head.

„Come on, it's your day off. It's okay as long as you don't get drunk." I assured her and she smiled.

We both took the shot of soju into our hand.

„Cheers!"

„Cheers!"

We both drank it and Jennie scrunched her nose.

„Oh you're so cute, is it your first time drinking soju?" I asked and had to smile.

„Yeah it actually is. Stop smiling!" She said and I had to laugh.

„So who wants to start?"

We both again looked at each other.

„ROCK, PAPER, SCISSOR!"

She won again and laughed.

„You suck at this." She fell onto the ground laughing and I pouted.

„That's what you get for laughing at me in the bowling bar!" She said as she stood up and took the microphone.

She picked the song „Voices" by Stray Kids. (Yeah I know it's not really a karaoke song but I just love the song so much. Listen to it or I'm going to visit you at night)

The song started and I just watched her rapping Changbin's rap part. My eyes widely opened, she's so good. I took the mic because I didn't want to just watch her and started singing with her. She just looked at me with surprised eyes but soon enough started laughing out loud.

„Hahahaha oh my god Y/N... Your pronunciation is so bad hahaha you really have no idea how to speak korean right?" She asked between her laughs and I got so embarrassed.

She just didn't stop laughing. She suddenly lost her balance and started to fall.....

A/N: This chapter literally took me 1 hour to write. I decided to take my time now instead of just rushing my chapters. I'm really satisfied with this chapter tho. Hope you like it too!
